At Mechanic Superstore, our commitment is to provide you with the best customer service possible. For this reason, we offer you all kinds of delivery options so that you can choose the one that suits you best.
I Have The Equipment To Unload My Order
- Do you have a forklift, a high-capacity hoist, or a tractor in your facility? In that case, this option may be the one for you.Aspects to keep in mind when choosing this option.
- The most popular 2-post lifts (with 9,000 lb and 10,000 lb capacity) have a shipping weight of approximately 1,400 lbs and 1,900 lbs, respectively. On the other hand, a 15,000 lb capacity 2-post lift has a 2,700 lb shipping weight.
- Given the packaged lift and hydraulic power unit’s weight, they cannot be unloaded from the trailer by hand. Simply put, IT IS MANDATORY TO USE A SUITABLE FORKLIFT OR HOIST FOR UNLOADING THE LIFT.
- You are solely responsible for unloading your equipment from the truck. The truck driver cannot do this for you.
- Mechanic Superstore uses trustworthy freight companies to make the deliveries. It is your responsibility to be present on the scheduled date and time of the delivery.
- There will be a receiver charge of $135 if the truck driver arrives at the designated location and the customer does not have the necessary means ready to unload the lift.
- In case you do not have the necessary equipment to unload the equipment do not worry. Mechanics Superstore offers other delivery options.
Do you have a hitch trailer to transport your lift? If so, then this might be the best option.
Aspects to keep in mind when choosing this option.
1. Mechanics Superstore and our brands’ warehouses have the means to load your car lift into an appropriate trailer.
2. Given the weight and dimensions of car lifts, we cannot load lifts directly into vehicles or trucks. To safely transport your lift, you will need a hitch trailer. Will this option not work for you? Perhaps the warehouse is too far from your location? If so, keep reading.
Think of this option as a variation of the previous one. Even so, this could be an excellent alternative to picking up the lift at one of our warehouses. Instead, we can take the car lift to a warehouse closer to your location.
You will still need a hitch trailer to transport the lift for this option, but you can save on freight costs if you have an LTL Carrier close to your shop.
Neither of the above delivery options suits you? Then we have the solution.
We will dispatch your lifts directly to a local installer in your area. This way, you will not have to worry about anything since the installer would be in charge of the logistics.
Aspects to keep in mind when choosing this option.
1. You still have to pay the freight fee to the installer (or dock hold for the installer to pick up the lift)
2. We will quote th e installation fee before you pay for the lift so that you can get an idea of the total amount to pay (car lift + freight + installation).
Do you have another delivery option in mind? In that case, do not hesitate to contact us. At Mechanic Superstore, we are open to all kinds of solutions, as long as they comply with the relevant local regulations and safety standards.
Katool KT-4H850 4 Post 8,500 lbs Heavy Duty lift
The Katool KT-4H850 8,500 lbs 4 post heavy duty lift is built for professional use in automotive shops and garage environments where strength, safety, and durability are essential. With a rated lifting capacity of 8,500 lbs (approximately 3,850 kg), this lift handles many types of vehicles including sedans, SUVs, and light trucks with confidence. It is CE approved and certified, having been tested to meet 115 percent dynamic load and 150 percent static load standards, providing reliable performance under heavy use.
The heavy duty lift design features a robust four post structure that ensures stable weight distribution. Its runways are made with non-skid diamond plate surfaces for increased traction, improving safety during drive-on and drive-off operations. The posts stand 83.66 in (2,125 mm) high, allowing the lift to reach a maximum elevation of 70.87 in (1,800 mm). The minimum height of the runways is approximately 4.76 in (121 mm), giving clearance for low ground clearance vehicles. Inside column spacing measures about 94.72 in (2,406 mm), and the overall width spans 107.95 in (2,742 mm). With optional ramps, the lift’s total length can extend to 198.43 in (5,040 mm).
Operation times are optimized for shop productivity: lifting takes approximately 75 seconds, while lowering completes in about 40 seconds. These operating speeds enable technicians to move vehicles in and out of service quickly without undue delay. The lift’s hydraulic system is powered by a motor suited for either 110V/60Hz/1PH or 220V/60Hz/1PH configurations, giving flexibility depending on shop power availability.
Safety mechanisms are integral to its design. The KT-4H850 features a single-point manual safety lock release, allowing both columns to unlock simultaneously from one side. It also includes four mechanical locking devices, each with a primary and secondary safety lock system, minimizing the risk of unintended descent. A slack-cable secondary locking device adds redundancy in the event of line failure. The power side column is configurable, allowing installation on either the left or right side, or choice between front or rear orientation, depending on shop layout.
The lift includes practical features for workshop convenience. It ships with a caster kit to allow repositioning before final anchoring, drip trays to catch automotive fluids, and a jack tray for storing service tools. Its platforms provide slip resistance and are built to endure frequent use. The hydraulic system is designed with high quality components to ensure smooth, reliable operation across numerous cycles, and maintenance access is facilitated for routine checks, lubrication, and inspection of safety lock ladders and chains.
For installation, the KT-4H850 4 post heavy duty lift requires a concrete slab of at least 3.93 in (100 mm) thickness and minimum compressive strength of 3,000 psi. Proper foundation conditions are critical to performance and safety. Anchoring procedures must be followed accurately during installation to maintain the structural integrity of the lift and ensure reliable operation.
Regular maintenance is essential to preserve functionality and safety. Technicians should periodically inspect hydraulic lines, safety locks, runway surfaces, and structural welds. Lubrication of moving parts and prompt replacement of any worn components helps extend service life and reduce unplanned downtime. The CE certification and rigorous testing standards reflect the lift’s suitability for professional environments and provide assurance of its structural integrity and safety performance.
The KT-4H850 4 post lift is engineered to serve as a dependable workhorse in busy vehicle service facilities. Its blend of capacity, safety, flexible installation options, and thoughtful features like caster mobility and drip trays make it a strong candidate for shops needing a high performance 4 post lift.
