iDEAL BCS-3000: a 3,000 lbs body cart that breaks down into two bundles when the job ends
The specification that decides this purchase is not the capacity, it is the storage size. When the shell comes off, the BCS-3000 comes apart into two packages: one 15" x 15" x 25" and one 4" x 4" x 32". A cart that stores in a corner is a cart a shop will actually own; a cart that cannot be broken down occupies a bay footprint permanently whether it is carrying anything or not.
What it gives up to do that is height adjustment — the deck is a fixed 22". What it keeps is the useful part: a 3,000 lbs rating, 8" x 2" HD poly casters, and adjustment from 38" to 65" in both width and length, so it still sizes to the body rather than the other way round.

The body. Width adjusts 38" to 65" and length adjusts 38" to 65". Measure the supporting structure of the shell or section you intend to carry, not its overall bodywork.

Height, which is fixed. 22". That is a rolling and storage height, not a working height — if you need the panel at waist level to work on it, the adjustable-height cart in this range is the model to look at instead. Deciding this before you order is the single most common regret on body carts.

Adjustable in two directions, fixed in the third — and that is the point
Every adjustment on a cart is also a joint, and every joint is somewhere it can rack under load or need setting up again. By fixing the height at 22" and keeping the width and length adjustment, the BCS-3000 keeps the two adjustments that decide whether the shell is supported in the right places and drops the one that mainly decides your posture. That is a deliberate trade, and it is the right one for a cart used to move and store bodies rather than to work on them.
The casters do more work than they look like they do
8" x 2" HD poly caster wheels are oversized for the load, and they are the reason a loaded shell crosses a shop floor smoothly. Large-diameter poly rolls over expansion joints, extension cords and dropped hardware instead of stopping dead at them — the sudden stop is what jolts a body on its supports. Poly also resists flat-spotting when a loaded cart stands in a corner for six months, which is precisely what a restoration cart does.
Powder coat, and the environment it lives in
The frame is powder coated. A body cart spends its life among blasting media, primer overspray, solvent and damp shells, and a chipped painted frame in that environment rusts at the chip and then transfers that rust to the next panel it carries. Powder coat is what keeps a cart presentable enough to put a finished shell back onto.

It is also worth stating what the 3,000 lbs rating means: it is a carrying capacity for a body properly supported on the cart, not a lifting rating and not a substitute for vehicle support stands. Nobody should work underneath a shell that is resting only on a cart. If your workplace rules or your insurer set requirements for supporting bodies off the vehicle, confirm them before you order.
Shipping and delivery
We quote the freight live at checkout for the lower 48 states. This ships crated at 188 lbs on a freight carrier: arrange unloading at your end or take collection from the carrier's terminal, expect a residential fee if it is going to a home address, and inspect the shipment before signing for it. Because it arrives in two packages, count them against the paperwork and note anything short or damaged on the delivery receipt while the driver is present.
Warranty

One rule holds regardless of the term: open the claim before you attempt a repair. A cracked weld or a failed caster can be assessed as it failed; the same part already cut out, ground back or replaced cannot be, and that is usually the end of the matter.
