The number to look at on the MONTY 3300 is 6,000 lbs (2,722 kg) of loosening force at the bead shovel — and, more usefully, the fact that it arrives through a two-stage pneumatic cylinder the technician toggles with a foot pedal. Force alone is easy to buy. Force you can meter out, second stage held in reserve, is what lets the same machine ease a soft passenger sidewall off a rim in the morning and crack a seized light-truck bead in the afternoon without the operator choosing between too little and too much.
This is a tilt-tower changer for busy tire shops, multi-bay repair shops and dealerships working on cars, SUVs and light trucks, including low-profile and run-flat tires. It is sold in a 3300 and a 3300em configuration.
A multi-position bead breaker, not a single fixed shoe
The bead breaker is multi-position and works across a range of 2"-17" (5-43 cm). That range is what makes it usable on a mixed workload: a narrow sidewall and a wide light-truck tire do not want the shovel entering at the same point, and a fixed-position breaker forces a compromise on one of them. Setting the attack position and then metering the force through the pedal is the difference between a tool that suits the tires it was designed around and one that suits what actually rolls into the bay.
Dual clamping cylinders — why two, and what slippage costs
All four clamping jaws are driven by dual pneumatic clamping cylinders. The purpose is to eliminate slippage. When a single cylinder drives a turntable through linkage, clamping pressure can be uneven around the wheel; the jaw that grips least is the one that lets go under torque, and the wheel moves a fraction against the jaw. That fraction is a scratch, and on a painted or machined alloy it is the whole cost of the job. Two cylinders acting on the jaw set hold the wheel evenly, so the assembly turns with the table rather than against it.
Built to be worked, not admired
The clamping table is solid steel a half inch thick, on a steel-reinforced chassis. That mass is not styling — a turntable that flexes under a heavy assembly moves the clamping geometry while the tool is loaded, and a machine that has flexed a few thousand times no longer clamps concentrically. The air cylinders and valve are rust-proofed, which matters because shop air carries water, and an on-board lubricator and regulator let the machine condition its own supply rather than depend on whatever the shop line delivers that day.
Inflation through the jaws
Bead seating is by a powerful air blast operated from the foot pedal, with each moveable jaw set precisely under the wheel so the bead is sealed as the air arrives. Seating a stubborn bead by improvisation is how technicians get hurt; a system that does it in one controlled pedal action removes the temptation.
Will It Fit?
Power. The MONTY 3300 runs on 120V, 1Ph, 60Hz. That is ordinary single-phase shop power, which is worth weighing against machines in this class that expect a heavier supply — it is often the difference between installing where you want the machine and installing where the panel allows. Providing a correctly rated, properly grounded circuit at the machine's location remains the customer's responsibility.
Air. Everything that does work on this changer is pneumatic: the clamping cylinders, the two-stage bead breaker and the inflation blast. Run an adequate air line to the position before the machine arrives, and size your compressor for the duty cycle you intend, not for one tire an hour.
Space and floor. A tilt-tower design needs clear space behind the tower for it to tilt back, and clear space in front for the technician and the wheel. Plan around the swing, not the footprint. A sound, level concrete floor is assumed and confirming your slab is the customer's responsibility.
Wheels. The machine takes outer tire diameters up to 40" (101.6 cm) and clamps wheels up to 24". Measure your largest regular assembly against those two figures before ordering.

What's in the Box — and what is not
The machine is supplied with the tilt tower, the four-jaw clamping table driven by dual pneumatic cylinders, the multi-position two-stage bead breaker, the pedal-operated inflation system and the on-board air lubricator and regulator.
EasyMont Pro is an upgrade, not standard equipment. The manufacturer lists the 3300 as upgradeable with the EasyMont Pro assist — a three-piece arrangement of top roller, pressing foot and lifting disc that lets one operator mount and demount low-profile and high-performance tires unaided. If you intend to run this machine single-handed on difficult tires, price that upgrade into the decision now rather than discovering later that it was never in the crate.

Two figures we are not going to state
The inner and outer clamping ranges. Our sources contradict each other about which range belongs to which measurement. The specification table on this page lists an inner clamping range and an outer clamping range one way round, and lists an outer clamping diameter that does not match its own outer clamping range; the product's spec fields reverse the pair again. What all of them agree on is the upper limit — 24" — so that is the figure we have printed. If you need to know precisely how small a wheel it will grip from the inside versus the outside, ask us and we will confirm it against the factory sheet rather than pick a version here.
The machine weight. The spec table row for weight carries a value with a length unit attached to it, which cannot be right, and the product's spec field gives the same number in pounds. Because we cannot reconcile the unit from the data in front of us, we have left the weight out of our tables above rather than publish a shipping and rigging figure that might be wrong. Ask us before you book a forklift or plan a lift.
Certification and compliance, honestly
The data we hold for the MONTY 3300 does not record an independent third-party safety listing, and we will not imply one. A manufacturer's own declaration of conformity is a different document from a listing issued by an accredited third-party body, and where a requirement names the second, the first does not meet it. If your insurer, a dealership franchise standard or your local authority having jurisdiction specifies a listing for shop equipment, find out exactly which, and let us confirm this machine's paperwork against it before you commit.

Whatever the arrangement: inspect before you sign. Check for punctures, crushed corners, a load that has moved on the pallet and broken banding, and write what you find on the bill of lading at the time of delivery. A clean signature says the machine arrived undamaged, and undoing that later is hard.
Warranty
Coverage runs through our published warranty claims process. We have not quoted a term because the data we hold for this model does not state one. And the standing rule for every machine we sell: do not take a suspect component apart before the claim is open.
