Two spin speeds, because a truck wheel is not a big car wheel

Measurement accuracy on a spinning mass depends on the wheel being stable through the read, and a heavy truck assembly behaves differently on the shaft than a car wheel does. Matching the spin speed to the class of wheel is how the machine keeps the reading trustworthy across both, instead of being tuned for one and tolerable on the other.
