Description
-Corghi Service PRO 750 Wheel Balancer
Most balancer pages describe what the machine does to the wheel. The more useful question in a working shop is what the machine asks of the technician, and the PRO 750's answer is unusually accommodating: adhesive counterweights can be positioned three different ways — manually at 12 o'clock or at 6 o'clock, assisted with the weight holder clip, or assisted with a laser pointer at 6 o'clock, which is an optional extra. Technicians develop strong preferences about weight placement, and a machine that permits only one method quietly slows down everyone who prefers another. This one does not force the choice.
It is a fully automatic-cycle digital balancer with software for steel and light alloy wheels on cars, off-road vehicles, light commercial vehicles, motorcycles and scooters.
Read this before you order: which version is this?
The manufacturer's description states that electronic acquisition of distance and wheel diameter, via the integrated FSP SMART ARM function that automatically activates the balancing programs without using the keyboard, is only on the PROFESSIONAL version. This listing does not state which version is supplied.
That matters more than any other line on this page, because automatic acquisition is the feature people buy this class of balancer for. Ask us to confirm the version before you order. We would rather have that conversation now than have you unpack a machine expecting SMART ARM and find manual entry. Two smaller discrepancies sit in the same data and are worth resolving at the same time: the product heading describes an LCD monitor which the specification table does not list, and the width figures do not agree — the table gives maximum wheel width as 22.8" (579mm), the store's own spec field says 23", and the rim width setting range stops at 20". The overall height is likewise given as 42.9" in the table's dimensions and 43" in the spec field.
Hidden Weight and Opt Flash
Hidden Weight hides the counterweight behind the spokes, for a better appearance on the finished rim. On an alloy wheel that is not vanity — it is the difference between a wheel that looks serviced and one that looks repaired, and on a customer's car that perception is the job.
Opt Flash solves a different and more frustrating problem: the assembly that balances correctly and still runs rough. It indicates the ideal mounting position between rim and tire to reduce the overall wheel imbalance, which is the remedy when the rim's runout and the tire's runout happen to add together instead of cancelling. Without a program like it, the only options are more weight or a repeat visit.
Auto brake stops the wheel automatically at the end of the cycle. Small feature, real effect: it removes the dead time at the end of every spin where the technician is standing waiting for a wheel to stop turning, multiplied by every wheel in the day.
Display and weight tray
The balancer has a high brightness digital display, which is what makes it readable in a bay with an open roller door and daylight behind it — a specification that only reveals itself as important after you have owned a machine without it. The counterweight tray is spacious and made from highly resilient material, sized for weights and work accessories. A tray that survives being dropped on and having solvent spilled in it is a tray you are still using in five years.
Measurement and cycle
Spinning speed is 150 RPM, average measurement time is 7 Seconds, unbalance measurement accuracy is +/- 1g, and the maximum unbalance value is 999g / 35.3 Oz. Power consumption is 250 W. A seven-second cycle is what makes a fully automatic balancer worth its price on volume work: the machine is rarely the bottleneck, the wheel handling is.
Will It Fit?
The machine is listed at 50" x 67" x 42.9", with the metric equivalents printed in the table as 1270 x 1704 x 1089 without a unit label. It weighs 280 lbs (127 kg). Power supply is 110V / 60hz / 1ph, so an ordinary single-phase circuit will run it.
Plan the space in front of the shaft as well as around the cabinet — you need room to present a wheel squarely, and room for the guard to travel. Maximum wheel weight is 154 lb (70 kg); if you routinely handle assemblies near that figure, budget for a wheel lift, because lifting a 154 lb wheel onto a shaft by hand is how shoulders get injured. Supplying the circuit and a flat, solid floor is the customer's responsibility.
Capacity
Maximum wheel diameter is 44" (1118 mm). Rim width is 1.5-20" (38-508 mm), and rim diameter is quoted as 10-26" (Automatic) / 1-35" (254-660mm / 25-889mm) — the first band being the automatically-acquired range and the second the full settable range. Read that alongside the version question above, since the automatic band is the one tied to SMART ARM.
Perfect For
- Tire shops running volume, where a 7-second cycle and auto brake compound across a full day.
- Mixed workshops covering cars, off-road, light commercial, motorcycles and scooters from one machine.
- Teams with several technicians, where three weight-placement methods stop the machine dictating technique.
- Alloy-focused work that needs Hidden Weight and Opt Flash rather than raw speed.
What's in the Box
The listing describes the digital display, the weight tray, FSP SmartArm wheel dimension detection, auto brake, OPT Flash and Hidden Weight as machine features. The laser pointer at 6 o'clock is explicitly optional. Cones, flanges and a wheel lift are not itemised in the product data — ask us for the packing list, and settle the version question at the same time.

Certification, stated plainly
No certification, approval or third-party listing is claimed for this balancer anywhere in its product data, and we are not going to write one into existence. A page can imply a badge simply by sounding official, so the honest position is to say plainly that we hold no such document. If an insurer, a franchise standard or a local requirement obliges you to hold documented approval for workshop equipment, ask us to request the manufacturer's paperwork before you commit, and check the requirement with the body that imposes it rather than with a product page.
Shipping and Delivery
The PRO 750 travels as freight to the lower 48 states, with your cost calculated live at checkout from your own address instead of being estimated in advance. At 280 lbs (127 kg) crated, unloading is a real step to plan: a forklift or dock makes it simple, and terminal collection is a sensible fallback. If the delivery address is residential, a residential fee is applied and shown to you at checkout. Check the crate before signing and record any damage on the bill of lading with the driver still there — that note is what a later claim depends on.
Warranty
This listing carries no warranty term, so none is quoted here. Ask us before you order and we will confirm the manufacturer's coverage for this model in writing; our own process is on the warranty claims page. Regardless of what the term turns out to be, do not strip a suspect assembly before the claim is registered — photograph it, tell us, and leave it intact. A part that has been opened is the most common reason an otherwise good claim fails.
