Description

The camera is the part the name is talking about

"Visual L" is not styling. This configuration of the ARTIGLIO MasterCode carries an on-board video camera positioned for a clear view of the lower side of the tire, recallable on screen at any moment during the work. The underside of the wheel is where a technician works blind - the bead you cannot see is the one that gets pinched, and the rim face you cannot see is the one that gets marked. This machine puts that view on the screen.

Paired with it is the "Inflatron" electronic inflator: an integrated, automated inflation and deflation system with overpressure inflation for bead seating, its own touch-screen interface, bar, PSI and kPa scales, and an end-of-cycle indicator. Because it runs the inflation cycle by itself, the operator can be doing something else while it works. Those two items are the reason to specify this configuration rather than a plainer one - everything else on the machine is the same well-proven MasterCode platform.

Will It Fit?

The practical constraints here are power, air and floor. All three are the buyer's to confirm before ordering.

  • Power. The specification table lists this machine as 110 V, 1PH, 50 Hz, and the feature list states it is available in electric only. Note the frequency: 50 Hz is not the standard North American supply frequency, so before you order, ask us to confirm the electrical configuration of the unit that will actually be shipped to you. Sizing a circuit from a specification row that describes a different market is an avoidable mistake.
  • Compressed air. 130 psi is the published air requirement. If the shop compressor cannot hold that under load, the compressor is part of this purchase whether you planned it or not.
  • Floor and access. The machine weighs 1,312 lbs. That is a rigging job rather than a two-man lift; measure the route from the delivery point, including door heights and turns, before freight is booked.
  • Dimensions. Treat the published dimension row with care - read "Two measurements worth a phone call" further down this page before you plan the footprint.
  • Your responsibility. Building, floor, air supply, electrical supply and unloading are all yours to arrange.

No contact with the rim, by design

The Smart Corghi System demounting procedure is what the MasterCode platform is built around: a leverless method descended from the "Leva la leva" technology, with an unambiguous manufacturer's claim behind it - no contact with the rim at all. Tire stress is minimised, and demounting and mounting are automated and synchronised rather than separate manual operations.

The commercial arithmetic is simple. One scuffed alloy rim can cost more to put right than the margin on a great many tire changes, and a machine that structurally cannot touch the rim removes that liability regardless of who is operating.

Self-acquisition: the machine measures the wheel, not the technician

The MasterCode acquires the wheel's dimensions itself and positions its tools automatically from that measurement. Three wheel-type settings cover the range of work, and the operator chooses an automatic or a manual work cycle depending on the job in front of them.

The value of self-acquisition is consistency. Manual dimension entry is where a tired technician makes a small error that becomes a large one, and it is the step that most separates an experienced operator from a new hire. Taking the measurement off the human takes the variance with it.

Dual bead breaker and automatic lubrication

Bead breaking uses a dual pneumatic penetrator with two opposed discs on separately controlled cylinders, built for rigidity and precision. Working both beads from opposed positions loads the wheel symmetrically instead of levering against one point.

Alongside it runs automatic direct lubrication of the lower and upper bead, applied during dynamic bead breaking rather than beforehand - lubricating at the moment of separation is what gets stubborn tires off cleanly.

Turntable, lifter and the inverter motor

The turntable is an intelligent electromechanical unit with a patented wheel clamp system, supplied with additional specific flanges for wheel types the standard clamp does not suit. Torque at the turntable is 811 ft-lb, with two speeds of 7 rpm and 18 rpm, and the second speed is also available in reverse rotation. The latest-generation inverter motor adds torque control and a controlled acceleration curve, so the tire is brought up to speed rather than snatched.

An integrated, fully articulated wheel lifter rated at 187.4 lb (85 Kg) takes the heaviest moment of the job out of the operator's back. A bead depressor with adjustable working height is fitted, shaped for run-flat tires and WDK homologated.

The touch screen, and what it does when nobody is watching

An interactive multifunctional TFT-LCD touch screen under microprocessor control guides the operator through the procedures. Three things on it earn their place: a USB port for database updates and for loading files and videos; scheduled maintenance reminders with self-diagnosis, sensor state checks and fault indication; and online help carrying the manual and the special procedures for run-flat and ultra-high-performance tires. A machine that tells you it needs servicing before it fails carries less downtime.

Two measurements worth a phone call

Published figures for this machine differ in two places, and both are quick to settle. The manufacturer's specification table carries two rows both labelled "Max. Tire Diameter", one giving 47" (1,194 mm) and the other 15" (381 mm). Those describe different measurements - the smaller one is most likely a tire width - and both rows appear on this page exactly as the manufacturer publishes them rather than being picked between here.

The same table gives the machine's dimensions as 72.5" H x 693" W x 86" D. A tire changer is not fifty feet wide, so read that width as a transcription slip in the published table rather than the footprint to plan your bay around.

If the wheel envelope or the footprint decides this purchase, confirm both figures with us in writing before you order - ask us and we will take them from current Corghi factory documentation.

Perfect For

  • Tire specialists working on high-value alloy wheels where a no-contact demount is a liability decision, not a preference.
  • Shops handling run-flat and ultra-high-performance tires that defeat conventional equipment.
  • Dealership service departments where consistent results across a mixed-experience team matter more than peak speed.
  • High-volume operations that want the inflation cycle running unattended while the operator moves on.

What's in the Box

No packing list is published in the data we hold, so none is invented here. What is documented as supplied with the machine: the additional specific flanges for the wheel clamp system, and the integrated lifter, bead depressor, inflator and camera described above. Certification, stated honestly

Our product data records no independent third-party safety listing for this machine, so this page does not claim one. The bead depressor is described by the manufacturer as WDK homologated, which is a tire-industry approval for a specific component and its handling of run-flat tires - it is not a whole-machine safety listing and should not be read as one. Where an insurer, a fleet contract or a local jurisdiction requires a named listing, confirm the requirement with them and ask us to establish what the manufacturer can evidence in writing before you commit.

Shipping and delivery

This machine moves as freight within the lower 48 states, priced live at checkout for the address you enter rather than estimated in advance. Arrange unloading in advance or elect to collect from the carrier's terminal - a freight driver delivers the crate but does not lift it off the truck for you. Where the delivery address is residential, a residential fee applies. Look the crate over before you sign for it, and put any damage in writing on the bill of lading while the driver is still there. A clean signature is treated as agreement that the machine arrived undamaged.

Warranty

Warranty terms live on our warranty claims page, and that is deliberate: a live page stays current in a way that a period typed into a product description does not. Whatever those terms are, do not dismantle the machine before a claim has been filed and assessed. Equipment opened up for investigation before the claim was raised is the most common reason cover is declined.
