Most washing cabinets are bought on tank capacity, which is the wrong end of the problem. Tank capacity tells you how much detergent you are heating; inside height tells you what will physically go in. The skimmer is what keeps the detergent working
An aqueous washer does not fail suddenly. It degrades: oil comes off the parts, floats, and gradually turns the tank into an emulsion that redeposits a film on everything it is supposed to be cleaning. The stainless steel oil skimmer on the RS-750D lifts that floating oil off the surface continuously, which is why the same charge of detergent lasts through many more loads than it would in a cabinet without one. The economics are straightforward — detergent and disposal both cost money, and the skimmer reduces the frequency of both — but the operational point is better: parts come out of the last wash of the week as clean as the first.
Heat, pressure and how the cleaning actually happens
The wash is aqueous, not solvent, so there are no harsh chemicals to store, ventilate or dispose of as hazardous waste. Cleaning power comes from three things working together: heat, pressure and coverage. Dual water heaters bring a 53-gallon tank up to working temperature quickly, and the thermostat holds water between 160° - 180° F (71° - 82° C), which is the range where grease stops behaving like a solid. The pump delivers 70 psi @ 70 gpm through 22 brass nozzles, and the turntable rotates the part through them on a friction drive so the spray reaches faces that a fixed manifold would miss. High volume at moderate pressure is the correct trade for parts washing — you are flooding and dissolving, not blasting.
Built for the environment it lives in
The cabinet is 12 gauge steel at .109 thickness with a two-step primer and a powder coat over it, and the interior welds are described as contamination proof, meaning debris cannot lodge in a weld seam and slowly rot the shell from inside. The door is a full-opening octagonal design with a neoprene seal and no gasket to perish, and a fast-release latch. A low water shutoff protects the heaters and the pump if the level drops, the tank screen lifts out for cleaning, and a large drain pipe means end-of-life tank changes are not an afternoon. Heavy duty non-marring casters let a 746 lbs (338 kg) machine be repositioned without ruining the floor it is standing on.

It ships at 746 lbs (338 kg) in a crate measuring 46" x 46" x 80" (1,168 mm x 1,168 mm x 2,032 mm); measure your doorways against that crate, not against the cabinet. Confirming the electrical supply, the floor and the access route is the customer's responsibility, and an hour spent on it now is worth a great deal more than the same hour spent on delivery day.

Certification, stated rather than implied
We do not publish an independent third-party listing for this cabinet and we are not going to leave the subject vague. It is a heated, powered, plumbed electrical appliance that will live in a working shop, and the electrical panel is described as rated to a recognised enclosure standard — but that is the manufacturer's description, not a certificate we hold. If your insurer, your local authority or your workplace safety regime requires documented conformity for heated washing equipment, ask us what documentation the manufacturer supplies before you order. It is a much better question to ask now than during an inspection.
Shipping and delivery
This cabinet moves as freight within the lower 48 states, crated and heavy. You need a forklift, or a pallet jack with a level path and enough hands, or you can take terminal pickup from the carrier — often the simplest route for a shop without a dock. Delivery to a residential address is possible and carries a residential fee. Inspect the crate carefully before you sign anything and write any damage on the delivery paperwork in front of the driver; a clean signature on a damaged crate is the hardest position to argue from. Warranty
The manufacturer publishes one warranty document covering its product range, and we will send you the current version for this model on request rather than paraphrase a term here that you would then be relying on. One rule holds whatever the term says: if the machine develops a fault, open the claim before anyone takes a panel off. A pump or heater that has already been removed and inspected is very hard to warrant, and that teardown is the most common reason a straightforward claim turns into a long conversation.
