Description
-MaxJax M7K Portable Car Lift — Ultimate Package
The M7K is the larger-capacity successor to the M6K, and the whole engineering brief was to add lifting capacity without adding footprint. It rates 7,000 lbs (2,722 kg) on a portable two-post design that comes back out of the floor when you are done with it — which is a very different proposition from a mid-rise lift that owns a bay forever.
This listing is the M7K Ultimate Package. Below is what the lift itself will and will not do, in the manufacturer's own numbers — including two measurements where the published figures differ and are worth confirming with us before you order.
Capacity Is Two Numbers, and Only One Is on the Box
Everyone quotes the 7,000 lbs. The number that decides real jobs is the maximum load per arm: 1,750 lbs (794 kg). Four arms at 1,750 lbs is where the total comes from, and that arithmetic assumes the load is distributed evenly. It rarely is. A pickup with a loaded bed, a van fitted out with racking, a car with the engine out and the rear still fully trimmed — all can sit comfortably inside the total rating while overloading a single arm. Set the vehicle on the manufacturer's designated lift points, and if a vehicle is close to the limit, weigh it rather than estimate it.
Low-Profile Arms — One Measurement Worth a Phone Call
Reaching under a low car is the reason the arm profile matters, and it is measured as minimum pad height. Published figures for it differ. The product data on this page gives 4.5 in., describing arms that slide under most compact and sport vehicles; the M7K specification sheet gives 5.5 in. (139.7 mm). One inch decides whether an arm goes under a lowered car or stops against the sill. If minimum pad height is the measurement your purchase turns on, contact us before ordering and we will get a definitive answer from MaxJax.
Two Lifts in One
An optional motorcycle adapter kit converts the same two columns into a lifting platform for motorcycles, ATVs and other motorised vehicles. For a home workshop or a small independent shop that is a genuine change in what the equipment budget buys: one purchase, one floor anchor pattern, two kinds of work. It is an option rather than an inclusion — ask us to quote it alongside the lift rather than assuming it is in the crate.
Will It Fit, and What Will It Ask of Your Building?
Overall height is 89.5 in. (2,273 mm) and the columns are 64 in. (1,626 mm) tall. Measure the 89.5 in. against your lowest obstruction — door track, opener rail, light fitting — and remember the vehicle goes above the pads, not the columns. Typical width outside the base plates is 105 in. to 135 in. (2,667 mm to 3,429 mm), which is the floor space to plan for at the narrow and wide extremes of column spacing.
Setting up is designed to be quick and reversible: internally threaded concrete anchors and quick-connect hydraulic couplers give a manufacturer-rated stow-away in under 15 minutes, and heavy-duty urethane non-marring wheels let the columns be repositioned rather than dragged.
Two things our data does not tell you, and we will not invent. The motor is specified as 50-60 Hz, 1 Ph, 15 Amps with no supply voltage stated anywhere in the specification — ask us to confirm it against your circuit before ordering. And the concrete slab requirement is given in the installation manual, not in the product data, so no thickness or strength figure appears on this page. Verifying your floor is the buyer's responsibility; the anchors are the only thing keeping a loaded column upright, and that is not the place to assume.
Perfect For
- Serious home garages that need real capacity but cannot give a bay over permanently.
- Professional shops adding a flexible lifting position for overflow or specialist work.
- Owners running both cars and motorcycles, where the adapter option makes one lift do two jobs.
- Anyone lifting heavier vehicles occasionally, where the per-arm limit is the specification to plan around.
What's in This Package
Straight answer: the specification data we hold is identical across the Standard, Deluxe, Supreme and Ultimate packages, so it does not tell us what this package adds. We are not going to write a contents list we cannot evidence on a purchase this size. Call or message us with the work you do and we will confirm precisely what is crated for this package, and what the difference is worth, before you commit. The lift itself is two single-piece columns, the hydraulic power unit, arms with automatic restraints, and quick-connect hydraulic couplers. Direct-drive technology replaces lifting chains and screw mechanisms; full-floating UHMW polyethylene slide blocks are specified as maintenance-free for the life of the lift; automatic arm restraints engage and release on every cycle.

Certification — No Badge We Cannot Evidence
Lifts are the category where an independent safety listing genuinely matters, so here is the position without decoration: the product data we hold for this lift records no third-party safety listing. A manufacturer's own declaration about its product is not the same document as a listing issued by an independent testing body — and for commercial operation the difference can be decisive, because insurers, dealership and fleet programmes and some local jurisdictions require the independent listing. If any of those apply to you, resolve the requirement before you buy. Ask us and we will pursue whatever documentation the manufacturer holds rather than let the question surface at an inspection.
Shipping and Delivery
This lift ships by freight within the lower 48 states, crated at 980 lbs (444 kg) and 68 in. x 39 in. x 35 in. Freight is quoted live at checkout for the address you enter, so the figure is real rather than an estimate. You must be able to unload it, or take collection at the carrier's terminal — the driver is not obliged to bring it inside, and at 300 lbs (136 kg) a column this is not a shoulder-carry up a drive. Residential delivery is available and carries a residential fee. Inspect the crate before signing. Any damage, crushing or missing item goes on the delivery receipt at the time of delivery; a clean signature is very close to the end of a freight claim.
Warranty
The manufacturer's warranty applies, and the terms in force are set out on our warranty claims page. We have printed no period here because the data we hold does not state one — ask us and we will confirm the term for this package before you buy. If a problem does appear, contact us first and leave the lift intact: dismantling it or attempting a repair before the claim has been opened is the most common way a valid claim is lost.
Pick Up and Delivery
Our Pick Up locations for Bendpak/Dannmar/Ranger are located in Santa Paula, California & Theodore, Alabama.
