This listing is titled as the BendPak 300-1 pipe bender tooling package, but the product details published against it — the description, the feature list and the specification below — describe a set of four BendPak anti-vibration pads. Those are two different items, and we are not going to paper over the difference on a page you are about to buy from.
So please call, text or chat with us before ordering, and we will confirm exactly what ships against this listing. It takes a minute, and it is the difference between getting the tooling you expected and getting a box of pads. Everything below describes the anti-vibration pad set, because that is the only product information published for this listing — nothing here should be read as a specification of pipe-bender tooling.
What the published details cover: BendPak anti-vibration pads
Anti-vibration pads are about as inexpensive as compressor insurance gets. A reciprocating compressor spends its life shaking, and everything it is bolted to shakes with it: the feet walk, the fasteners loosen, copper lines work-harden at the joints, and the noise travels straight into the slab and around the building. Setting the machine on four thick rubber pads breaks that path. The pads absorb the movement instead of the floor and the fittings taking it.
Material and construction
The pads are moulded from a high-quality elastomer compound rather than scrap rubber, and that choice shows up in what they resist: ageing, compression set, water and oil. Compression set is the one to understand, because it is how cheap pads fail. A pad with poor compression-set resistance is gradually flattened by the weight sitting on it, loses its ability to spring back, and quietly stops absorbing anything — it is still there, still looks fine, and is no longer doing its job. A compound specified against compression set keeps working.
Oil and water resistance matter for the same practical reason. Compressor rooms have condensate, and often a film of oil around the drain. A pad that swells or degrades in either is a pad on a maintenance schedule.
The top face is treaded, which greatly reduces the chance of the machine slipping on the pad. On a compressor that pulses hard on every stroke, that grip is what stops the unit walking across the floor over the months.
Siting and installation
Each pad is 1/2" (13 mm) thick and there are four in the set, one under each foot. Set them on a clean, level, dry floor — grit trapped under a pad is a pressure point that will chew into it — and let the machine's own weight settle onto them rather than dragging it into place. Check that all four are taking load; a machine sitting on three pads and rocking on the fourth is worse off than one bolted straight to the slab.
Perfect for
- Home and hobby garages, where the compressor and the living space share a wall.
- Professional shops wanting to keep fittings tight and reduce noise transmitted through the floor.
- Anyone installing a new compressor — pads cost far less than the fittings and fasteners they protect.

Shipping and delivery
Shipping for this listing depends on what actually ships against it, which is the open question above — another reason to confirm the contents with us first. Freight shipments go to the lower 48 states; unloading is the receiving end's responsibility, or you can collect from the carrier's terminal, and delivery to a residential address carries a residential fee quoted live at checkout. Whatever arrives, inspect it and note any damage on the bill of lading before you sign for it.
Warranty
BendPak's published warranty document covers this product; ask us for the current version before you order. Do not dismantle or modify an item before raising a claim — an altered product is usually outside the warranty by the time it is assessed.
