This versatile unit allows technicians to switch between different coolant types without cross-contamination, thanks to its dual 7.5-gallon fresh coolant tanks and a dedicated 15-gallon waste tank. Each tank features drip-proof quick-disconnect fittings and float-activated shut-off to prevent spills during service.
Engineered for efficiency, the MCX-2 completes a full coolant exchange in approximately three minutes using its powerful 2-gallon-per-minute pumps. It delivers a high exchange efficiency of 92 to 98 percent in a single pass, ensuring thorough removal and replacement of old coolant. The integrated vacuum generator creates up to 28 inches of mercury, effectively removing air and spent coolant from the system for a complete and clean exchange.
A standout feature of the MCX-2 is its built-in system pressure testing capability. Technicians can pressurize the cooling system and monitor for leaks using the integrated pressure gauge, which quickly identifies any drop in pressure that could indicate a system leak.
