RCD-1500MP: The One That Tells You How Far the Rollers Actually Move
Most dolly listings give you a tire range and expect you to trust it. The RCD-1500MP publishes the mechanism instead: a roller spread adjustment of 9.5 in. to 25.5 in. (241 mm to 648 mm). That is the real, measurable gap between the two rollers at their closest and their widest, and it lets you work out for yourself whether a particular wheel will sit down between them — rather than taking a marketing range on faith and finding out in the bay.
Everything else on this dolly is built around those rollers. They are aluminum, they are 11 in. (279.4 mm) wide and 3 in. (76 mm) in diameter, and they are shaped to hug the tire so it settles into the cradle instead of perching on it. Non-skid roller surfaces do the rest of the work of stopping a wheel from creeping.

Will It Fit Your Vehicle?
The published fit data is unusually complete, so use all of it. Tire diameter range is 15 in. to 34 in. (381 mm to 864 mm) — a genuinely wide envelope that reaches well past passenger-car rubber into light truck territory. Maximum tire width is 11 in. (279.4 mm), and notice that this is the same figure as the roller width. That is not a coincidence, and it is the clearest illustration of why this dolly quotes its mechanism: the tire cannot be wider than the roller it has to sit on.
The frame is 24 in. (610 mm) long and 23 in. (584 mm) wide without the casters, so you can check clearance against a low sill or an air dam before ordering. Stowed, each dolly folds to 24 in. long x 24.5 in. wide x 8.5 in. high (610 mm x 622 mm x 216 mm) — genuinely flat, which is what lets a set slide under a bench or stack on a shelf rather than leaning in a corner waiting to fall over.
The casters measure 4 in. in diameter by 1.25 in. wide (102 mm x 32 mm). A caster tread of that width puts real pressure into a small contact patch, so the floor requirement is not negotiable: hard, flat, level, swept, and free of drains, expansion gaps and slope. A vehicle on four dollies has no brakes and no steering. Verifying the floor is the buyer's responsibility and it is the difference between a controlled push and a runaway.
Aluminum Rollers, and Why the Material Is Worth Noticing
Aluminum is a deliberate choice for a roller that spends its life against tire sidewalls and rims. It does not rust when a wet vehicle sits on the dollies overnight, and it does not carry the ferrous grit that steel picks up and drags across a wheel face. Being lighter, the dolly is easier to position by hand under a tire — the part of the job done bent over, one-handed. The rollers turning is what makes the system work: the wheel rolls onto them and the tire is captured between two rotating surfaces rather than dragged up a ramp, which is why the non-skid surfacing matters.
Lift, Lock, Repeat
The routine is the same at every corner and takes about a minute once you have done it twice. Extend the frame to suit the tire, roll it against the wheel, work the hydraulic foot pump until the tire lifts clear, drop the locking pin in, and move on. The valve holds pressure and the pin holds the height mechanically, so nothing depends on seals alone.
Do that four times and a disabled vehicle becomes a mobile one. Every wheel is now a caster, so the car will go forward, backward, straight sideways or rotate on its own axis — which is how a vehicle ends up wedged into a corner no driver could have parked it in.
Floors, Frames and the Long Run
The wheels the dollies themselves roll on are phenolic resin: non-marking, and unbothered by the oils and solvents that end up on any working floor. Wide casters spread the load rather than concentrating it, protecting painted, sealed and epoxy-coated slabs from the permanent dimples a heavy point load leaves. Underneath, the frame is tubular steel reinforced at the stress points, with welded joints and cross members that resist twisting under load, and the hydraulic lift is built for repeated cycles with seals chosen to survive shop oil rather than a showroom. None of that is glamorous, and all of it determines whether the set still sits square in five years.

Certification, Stated Honestly
This product's data claims no third-party safety listing or approval scheme, and we are not going to imply one on its behalf. It deserves saying out loud: some insurers, fleet safety policies and municipal inspection regimes require independently listed equipment anywhere a vehicle is supported, and a wheel dolly is normally classed as a moving aid rather than as vehicle support at all.
