TOPDON BTMobile ProS Wireless Battery Analyzer
The BTMobile ProS has no screen, and that is deliberate. It is a wireless sensor that clamps onto a 12 V battery and sends its results to a display you already own — a phone, a tablet, or a TOPDON Phoenix series diagnostic scanner. There is no small monochrome window to read in the dark, no fixed menu system frozen at the design date, and nothing to obsolete except the app.
The consequence worth paying for is the last one on that list. Feed the results into a Phoenix scan tool and a diagnostic platform you have already bought becomes a battery tester as well, without a second instrument in the boot and without a second thing to keep charged. For a professional technician that is the argument in a sentence.
Three tests, and why all three matter
The analyzer covers battery testing, cranking testing and charging testing. Together they answer the three separate questions behind almost every no-start call, and separating them is exactly what stops the wrong part being replaced.
The battery test asks whether the battery can still deliver what it is rated for. The cranking test watches what actually happens at the moment of load, which is where a battery that passes a static test can still collapse, and where a failing starter shows itself by drawing more than it should. The charging test looks at what the alternator and regulator return afterwards, because a battery that keeps going flat is very often a charging fault wearing a battery's clothes.
Test a battery on its own and you have one third of the picture. That third is why perfectly good batteries get replaced, and why the customer comes back a fortnight later with the same complaint.

Dual Bluetooth, and why there are two
The unit carries both Bluetooth 3.0 and 4.0. That looks like a specification-sheet flourish and is actually practical. The older standard keeps compatibility with the tablets and devices already in the workshop, which are frequently a few years old and not about to be replaced. The newer low-energy standard is what modern phones expect and is easier on their batteries. Supporting both means the tool works with whatever is already in the technician's pocket rather than dictating a purchase.
What it will test
The analyzer is built for 12 V systems and handles the battery chemistries that turn up in a modern car park: regular flooded, AGM, EFB and GEL. AGM and EFB matter more each year, since stop-start vehicles use them almost universally and they behave differently under test from a conventional flooded battery — a tester that treats them all the same will misjudge them.
The test range runs from 100 to 2000 CCA, which spans a small car battery at one end and heavy-duty commercial batteries at the other. Supported standards include CCA, BCI, CA, MCA, JIS and DIN among others, so a battery labelled to a European, Japanese or marine rating can be tested against its own published figure rather than a converted approximation. If your work involves imported vehicles or marine batteries, that list is the part of the specification to read twice.
Reading it at a glance
Three LED indicators on the unit give an immediate status without picking up a device at all. The full breakdown lives on the phone, tablet or scan tool; the lights are there for the moment you just want to know whether to keep going. The menu system is multilingual.

Before you order: check the voltage
This is a 12 V analyzer. If your work includes heavy trucks, buses or equipment running a higher system voltage, this is not the tool for that side of the fleet, and we would rather tell you now than process a return. Ask us and we will point you at something suited to the vehicles you actually service.
Approvals, stated plainly
Our product data records no independent third-party listing for this analyzer, and we will not imply one exists. That is rarely a compliance question for a battery tester, but some fleet and franchised workshop agreements run approved-equipment lists. If you are working under one, check this model against it before ordering and ask us what documentation ships with the unit.
Shipping
The BTMobile ProS ships as a small parcel to the lower 48 states. Inspect the carton before the driver leaves and put any damage in writing on the delivery paperwork at that moment; signing clean and calling afterwards is a much weaker position for a claim. When you unpack it, check the clamps and their leads are sound, because clamp damage is easy to see on day one and hard to argue a month later. A residential delivery address may carry an additional fee, shown to you at checkout.
Warranty
The manufacturer's warranty applies and our warranty claims page explains how to raise a claim with us. Please do not open the housing or re-terminate the clamp leads before the claim is filed. On a sealed wireless unit, disassembly is the quickest way to lose a claim that would otherwise have been straightforward.
