Description
-Ranger RS-750DS Stainless-Steel Spray Wash Cabinet
The number that decides whether this machine is the right one is not the tank size. It is the 54" inside height. That is the clear space above the turntable, and it is what lets a transmission case, a differential housing or a truck cylinder head go in standing upright instead of lying down and being washed in two goes. The cabinet stands over 6 feet tall overall — 78" (1,981 mm) — and that height is bought for exactly one reason: the space inside it.
The RS-750DS is an aqueous parts washer. Hot water and detergent under pressure, on a turntable, in a sealed stainless cabinet, with a 1,000 lbs. (454 kg) load capacity on the platter. No solvent, no fume cabinet, no drum of dirty thinners to dispose of at the end of the quarter.
Will It Fit?
Two measurements decide siting, and they pull in opposite directions. The recommended floor space is 44" x 43" (1,118 mm x 1,092 mm) — a small footprint by shop standards, roughly the plan area of a decent tool cabinet. Ceiling height is the real constraint: at 78" tall, with a door that opens fully, the machine wants clear headroom and clear room in front of it.
Delivery is the other check. It arrives at 704 lbs. (319 kg) shipping weight, crated at 46" x 46" x 80" (1,168 mm x 1,168 mm x 2,032 mm), so the crate is taller than most doorways and only just narrower than a standard single door. Measure the route from where the truck stops to where the machine will stand, including any turn, before you order. That measurement is the customer's responsibility and it is where installations go wrong.
Power is the third. The motor is specified as 1 HP / 208-230V / 60 Hz / 1 Ph, or 3 HP / 380-415V / 50 Hz / 3 Ph, so the machine can be built for a single-phase shop supply or a three-phase industrial one. Add a 6 kW electric heater on top of the motor load. Tell us which supply you have before you order — this is not a plug-in appliance, and the two builds are not interchangeable after the fact.
Twenty-two nozzles, and why the number matters
The pump delivers 70 psi @ 70 gpm to 22 brass nozzles arranged so the spray reaches the work from every angle while the turntable rotates. That combination — high flow, moderate pressure, many outlets — is the aqueous washer's whole trick. Pressure alone strips coatings and drives water into places you would rather it stayed out of; flow is what carries loosened grease away and keeps hot solution moving over the part. Twenty-two nozzles spread the same pump output over more of the cabinet, which is what a 54" tall working space needs if the top of a tall casting is to be cleaned as well as the bottom.
The nozzles are stainless and the cabinet welds are contamination-proof, which is the unglamorous detail that decides service life. A parts washer spends its life full of hot alkaline solution, and every weld seam in it is a place corrosion can start.
The friction-drive turntable
The 30" (762 mm) turntable is friction driven rather than positively geared. If a part shifts, an awkward casting fouls the cabinet wall, or someone loads beyond what the platter will turn, the drive slips instead of stalling — the motor is not asked to break something in order to keep rotating. On a machine rated for 1,000 lbs. of load, that is the difference between an afternoon's inconvenience and a drive repair.
The door is a full-opening octagonal design, gasket-free and neoprene-sealed. Gasket-free matters more than it sounds: a conventional door gasket is a consumable that hardens, splits and leaks hot solution across the floor.
Hot water, and looking after itself
Dual water heaters bring the 53 gallons of solution up to temperature quickly at the start of a shift, and the heated cabinet runs on an adjustable thermostat between 160° - 180° F (71° - 82° C). Heat, not pressure, is what dissolves grease — a washer run cold cleans poorly no matter how good the pump is.
An automatic low-water shutoff protects the heaters and the pump from running dry, which is the commonest way a parts washer is destroyed. A stainless oil skimmer lifts floating oil off the solution so the detergent lasts longer and parts are not re-coated on the way out. A removable tank screen and a large drain pipe make the periodic clean-out a job rather than an ordeal, and a removable parts tree and small parts basket handle the fasteners that would otherwise vanish through the platter.
Perfect For
- Truck, fleet and heavy equipment shops — the inside height and the 1,000 lbs. platter rating are aimed squarely at large castings and assemblies.
- Engine and transmission rebuilders who need repeatable, hands-off cleaning rather than a bench and a brush.
- Shops moving away from solvent — aqueous operation with no harsh chemicals changes what you store, what you breathe and what you pay to dispose of.
- Machine shops and dealerships that want the washer running unattended while a technician does something else.

Certification, honestly
The product data for this cabinet makes no third-party safety-listing claim, and we will not write one onto the page. What it does state is a NEMA-rated electrical panel — an enclosure rating describing how well the electrical compartment is sealed against water and dust, which on a machine full of hot solution is the rating that actually matters day to day. That is a construction specification, not an independent listing of the finished machine, and the two are different documents.
Some insurers, workplace inspectors and corporate facility standards ask specifically for an independent listing on hard-wired equipment. If that applies to your site, tell us the requirement before you order and we will confirm what documentation Ranger issues for this model rather than let you assume it exists.
Shipping and delivery
This ships as crated freight within the lower 48 states, quoted live at checkout for your own address rather than estimated from a table.
Plan the unload before you order. The driver brings it to the tailgate and no further, so a forklift or a dock is what you want on site — at 704 lbs. in a tall crate, a pallet jack on level ground is the practical minimum and two people are not enough on their own. If you have neither, take terminal pickup and collect it from the carrier. A home address is a residential delivery and carries a residential fee. Collection in person is available from the pickup locations listed further down this page.
Inspect the crate before you sign. Damage written onto the bill of lading in front of the driver is claimable; damage found after a clean signature usually is not. A tall crate is exactly the shape that gets caught on a trailer door, so look at the top corners.
Warranty
The Ranger warranty document covering this model is linked in the downloads on this page. Read the term and its conditions there rather than take a summary from us — that document is what governs a claim.
One rule of ours protects it: if the pump, a heater or the drive develops a fault, leave the machine assembled and call us. Once a pump has been opened or a heater removed, nobody can establish what failed first, and a claim on a dismantled machine is a very difficult conversation.
