Triumph NTO-15: 15,000 lb capacity with a truck-width path between the posts
The specification that decides whether a heavy two-post earns its bay is not the number on the plate — it is the gap the vehicle has to get through to reach it. The NTO-15 leaves 102" of drive-through between the carriages and 116" between the posts, and because it is an overhead design there is nothing crossing the floor once the vehicle is in. A service body, a crew cab or a dual-rear-wheel one-tonne goes straight down the middle instead of being shuffled in by two people and a spotter.
What you get for it is a clear-floor lift carrying 15,000 lbs, with dual hydraulic cylinders, a single-point lock release, an electric safety cutoff at the top of travel, truck adapters in the box and a full raise in 40 seconds.

Concrete: our sheet and the manufacturer disagree — settle it before you pour
Get the foundation requirement from us in writing before you pour a slab, core an existing one or drill a single anchor. The specification sheet published on this page calls for a 4" slab at 3,000 PSI. The manufacturer's own published requirement for the NTO-15, which is also what other sellers of this model list, is a substantially thicker slab at that same 3,000 PSI strength. Those are not two ways of saying the same thing, and we are not going to choose one on your behalf or split the difference.
On a lift rated to 15,000 lbs this is the single most consequential line on the page. The anchors do not hold because they are long; they hold because there is sound concrete around them, and thickness is most of that. Send us the pour records for your bay, or tell us what you are planning to pour, and we will get the current factory foundation specification for this model before you commit a truck of concrete or a day of a contractor's time. If your slab is an unknown quantity, core it — the test costs a fraction of what it costs to find out the other way.
Will It Fit?
Every figure here is one you can check yourself, and checking is the buyer's job before the crate leaves.

Concrete. Disputed — see the section above. The page lists 4" at 3,000 PSI; the manufacturer publishes thicker. Confirm in writing before any concrete or anchor work.

Ceiling. Overhead style, standing 165" to the top of the beam. Your ceiling has to clear the lift itself, and so does anything hanging from it — lighting, unit heaters, sprinkler runs and door tracks all count.

Width across the bay. 142" overall. Then leave room to walk and work outside both columns rather than squeezing the lift between two walls.

Between the posts. 116", with a drive-through width of 102". The drive-through figure is the one that governs whether a wide body clears the carriages coming in.

Getting a low vehicle on. Lowered arm height is 7", which sets how low a chassis can sit and still be picked up.

Two height numbers, two different questions
The lift raises to 72" at the top of the pads, and the maximum rise measured under the arms is 65". Those answer different questions and buyers routinely conflate them. The first tells you how far the vehicle travels — relevant to whether a technician can stand upright beside the sill, and to whether the vehicle's roof will meet the ceiling on the way up. The second tells you the clear space beneath the arm structure, which is the height you are actually working in when you are under the vehicle rather than beside it. If you are tall, the second number is the one that decides how the bay feels.
Why the cylinders and the cutoff earn their place
Dual hydraulic cylinders drive the two carriages. On a truck this matters more than on a car, because a work vehicle carries its mass unevenly — a service body, a tank, a crane or a tool load shifts the centre of gravity well off the middle of the wheelbase. Two cylinders working together keep the carriages travelling in step under that load instead of one side leading and the vehicle acquiring a lean on the way up. A vehicle that arrives level stays where the technician put it, which is a safety property before it is a convenience.
The electric safety cutoff stops the carriages at the top of their travel, so a distracted operator holding the button does not run the lift into the end of its stroke. The single-point lock release then drops both columns together on one control, rather than requiring the technician to walk the lift and free each column in turn — the kind of design decision that shows up not on the first day but on the thousandth, because a lift that is fiddly to lower is a lift that gets lowered carelessly.
Clear floor, and what it buys you
There is no baseplate running across the bay between the columns, so a floor jack, a transmission jack, a drain pan or a creeper crosses from one side of the vehicle to the other without being lifted over anything. On a heavy vehicle the equipment coming underneath is itself large and awkward, which is exactly when an unobstructed floor stops being a nicety. It is also why the drive-through figure at the top of this page is worth as much as it is: wide in, and clear once it is in.

Certification, stated plainly
We do not list an independent third-party lift safety listing for this model, and we will not imply one by writing an acronym that this product's own data does not claim. The distinction is worth having straight before you order: a manufacturer's declaration of conformity is the builder making a statement about its own product, whereas an independent listing means an outside body tested the lift and audits the factory that makes it. Those are separate documents and neither one stands in for the other. Some commercial insurance policies, fleet safety programmes and local jurisdictions specifically require the second kind on a lift. Shipping and delivery
The lift travels by freight truck to addresses in the lower 48 states, and freight is quoted live at checkout for your address, so the number on screen is a current carrier rate rather than a figure that has aged on a page. Taking a 2,000 lb crate off the trailer is the receiver's responsibility: plan for a forklift, a dock, or a machine capable of handling it. Where none of that exists at the delivery address, collecting from the carrier's local terminal is usually simpler, because a terminal is equipped for exactly this. Choosing a residential delivery adds a residential fee, applied at checkout.
Do the inspection before the signature, not after. Bent column edges, crushed crate corners, broken banding and oil are the things worth finding; note anything you see on the bill of lading while the driver is still with you, and photograph it. A clean signed bill of lading is the carrier's proof that the shipment arrived undamaged, and overturning that later rarely goes well.

One rule applies to every hydraulic lift whoever built it: if something fails, do not take the power unit, a cylinder or a lock mechanism apart before a claim is open. A disassembled component is usually treated as a modified component, and that is the fastest route to losing cover you would otherwise have been paid.
