QuickJack 7000TL Portable Car Lift
The 7000TL is the heavy end of the QuickJack portable range: 7,000 lbs (3,175 kg) of rated capacity carried on frames that measure 70.75" (1,797 mm) and weigh 98 lbs (45 kg) each. That combination is the reason to buy it. You get pickup, van and full-size SUV capacity out of a lift that one reasonably fit person can still drag out of a corner, set up, and put away again — which is not something a post lift will ever do for you.
It suits the home mechanic whose driveway holds a truck rather than a hatchback, the mobile technician working on customer sites, and the shop that needs a lift it can carry to the vehicle instead of the other way round. The frames collapse to 3.5" (89 mm), so storage is a wall, not a bay.
Will It Fit?
Under the vehicle. Each frame is 3.5" (89 mm) tall fully lowered, rising to 4" (102 mm) with a 2" block seated in the tray. The vehicle needs that much clear space beneath the rocker before the frame will slide under it. On a truck this is rarely the constraint; on a lowered car it can be.
Lift point spread. The distance between the front and rear lifting blocks adjusts from 37" (940 mm) to 60" (1,524 mm). Measure between your vehicle's front and rear factory jack points and check that figure lands inside the range before ordering — that check is the customer's responsibility, and no accessory extends a spread beyond its limits. A vehicle whose jack points sit further apart than 60" (1,524 mm) needs a longer-framed lift, not this one.
Floor and working height. Each frame is 12.5" (318 mm) wide, so you need two clear strips of floor rather than a full bay, and the frames must sit on flat, sound, level ground. Maximum lifting height is 24.5" (622 mm); intermediate settings give 21.5" (546 mm) on a 2" block and 22.5" (572 mm) on a 3" block; the adapters raise it to 24.25" (610 mm), and adapters with the pin reach 27" (686 mm). Treat all of those as seated or creeper working heights. The power unit's electrical requirement is in the owner's manual linked on this page — read it against the circuit you plan to use before the lift arrives, not after.
Capacity you can actually carry
Capacity on its own is a cheap number; what makes it useful here is what it costs you in weight and space. A 7,000 lb rating usually arrives attached to something bolted to a slab. The 7000TL puts it in a pair of frames of 98 lbs (45 kg) each and a power unit of 15 lbs (7 kg). Shipping weight for the complete system is 280 lbs (127 kg). Those figures are what determine whether the lift gets used on a Saturday morning or stays where it was last put down, and they are the honest measure of a portable lift.
One hand on the control, both eyes on the car
This model is specified for one-handed operation, and that detail earns its place. Raising a vehicle is the moment you most want to be watching the blocks and the sills rather than wrestling a control. With one hand on the button, the other stays free to steady a creeper, hold a light, or wave someone back. Automatic safety locks engage as the frames rise, so at each lock position the load is carried mechanically rather than sitting on hydraulic pressure while you work underneath — the locks are what you are trusting, not the pump.

Certification, stated honestly
Our product data for the 7000TL records no third-party safety listing, and we will not imply one. Some insurers, fleet operators and local authorities require a vehicle lift used in a commercial setting to hold a recognised North American third-party lift safety listing — an independent body's testing and listing, which is a different document from a manufacturer's own declaration. If that requirement applies to your workshop, confirm it against this model before you buy. In a private garage it usually does not arise, but the decision should be yours with the facts stated rather than left vague.
Shipping and Delivery
Shipped as freight within the lower 48 states, quoted live at checkout against your delivery address rather than estimated on the page. You must be able to unload the shipment or collect it from the carrier's terminal; delivery to a residential address carries a residential fee, shown at checkout when it applies.
