AMGO LR10: 10,000 lbs of capacity on an ordinary 110V circuit

The specification that changes who can actually buy this lift is the smallest one on the sheet. The LR10's power unit is 1.0HP running on 110V/60Hz, single phase. No three-phase supply to find, no rewiring, no electrician booked before the crate arrives. Set against a lifting capacity of 10,000 lbs, that combination is unusual, and it is the reason to look at this lift rather than a scissor lift that needs the building rewired first.

Everything else follows from the same idea. The LR10 is not anchored into your slab. It sits on the floor, moves on its power unit stand, and rises from 105 mm to 600 mm — 4 1/8 inches to 23 5/8 inches — in about fifty seconds. It is the lift you add when you need another working position for tyres, brakes and body repairs and you are not in a position to rebuild the bay to get it.

Will It Fit?

A low-rise portable removes most of the fitment questions that make buying a lift stressful. There is no column height, no overhead beam and no anchoring, so there is no ceiling calculation and no concrete specification to satisfy. What is left is floor space, working height and a socket.

• Floor footprint. Overall length 76 1/4 inches (1938 mm) and overall width 70 inches (1780 mm). The runways themselves are 53 1/4 inches (1352 mm) long, or 66 inches (1676 mm) measured including the ramp.
• Width between the runways. 34 1/8 inches (868 mm) — this is the gap the vehicle straddles, and where the sump, exhaust and transmission will sit.
• Working height. It lifts to 23 5/8 inches (600 mm). That is bench-height work: sitting on a stool with the wheels off, or standing bent to a sill. It is deliberately not a lift you walk under, and expecting that from a low-rise is the one way to be disappointed by it.
• Getting under a low car. Minimum height is 4 1/8 inches (105 mm), which is what lets it go under most road cars without ramps or a jack first.
• Power. A 110V/60Hz single-phase supply. Check the circuit can carry the motor before you order.
• Ceiling. Whatever you already have. The LR10 puts no structure above the vehicle, so the only thing your roof has to clear is the car plus 23 5/8 inches.

Confirming your floor area, your surface and your circuit is the buyer's responsibility. A lift that is not bolted down still needs flat, sound, level concrete under it — easy to move is not the same as usable anywhere.

What "portable" is worth, and what it is not

Be clear-eyed about the word. The LR10 has a gross weight of 1,025 lbs (465 kg). That is not a lift you take to jobs. What the power unit stand buys is the ability for one person to move it across a shop floor, and that is worth more than it sounds in a specific situation: when the bay it occupies is also the parking space, the paint area, or the only route to the back of the building.

The current description makes the seasonal-business case and it is the right one. If your volume rises for a tyre changeover season, a low-rise that can be pushed out of the way afterwards is a different proposition from a lift that permanently claims a bay. It is also the answer for a workshop that has run out of bays before it has run out of work.

Automatic locks, and an automatic release

The LR10 carries multiple automatic safety locks with an automatic release, and the second half of that is the part worth pausing on. Many lifts in this format lock automatically as they rise and then require you to trip the locks by hand before lowering. Automatic release means both halves of the cycle are handled by the machine, so the lift comes down without anybody reaching under a raised vehicle to free a catch.

The underlying principle is unchanged and worth restating on any lift: hydraulic pressure raises the load, mechanical steel holds it, and work should only begin once the lift has settled onto its locks. Multiple lock positions mean you can choose a working height rather than accept whichever one the design gives you.

Speed, and why it matters more here than on a big lift

The LR10 covers its full range in around fifty seconds. On a two-post lift that gets used four or five times a day, cycle time is close to irrelevant. On a low-rise doing seasonal tyre work, the lift may be cycled dozens of times in a shift, and at that rate the seconds are the job. If you are buying this lift for volume work rather than occasional access, the cycle time is a real productivity number rather than a specification-sheet ornament, and it is worth weighing against slower alternatives.

Perfect For

• Seasonal tyre and wheel work, where an extra working position for a few months a year pays for itself and then folds away.
• Low-ceiling garages and units that cannot take a two-post or four-post lift at all.
• Body and paint work, where sill and lower-panel access matters and an overhead structure would be in the way of lighting or spray.
• Home garages with only ordinary household circuits, which is the case the 110V power unit was chosen for.

It does arise for some commercial insurance policies, for fleet and municipal operations, and for jurisdictions whose code names a specific listing. Shipping and delivery

This ships by freight truck to addresses in the lower 48 states, with freight quoted live at checkout against your own address, so the figure you see is a current carrier rate rather than a stale estimate. It arrives crated on a standard trailer and getting it to the ground is the receiver's job — a forklift, a machine, or a plan and some help. Where none of those exist, collecting from the carrier's local terminal is usually easier, because the terminal already has the equipment. Delivery to a residential address carries a residential fee, applied at checkout when you select it.

Inspect before you sign: crushed corners, bent steel, shifted banding, any trace of oil. Write what you find on the bill of lading while the driver is still there, and photograph it. A clean signature is the carrier's evidence that the load arrived undamaged.
