Product Description

Topdon BT300P & BT600 Printer Paper

This is the replacement paper for the built-in printers on the BT300P and BT600 battery testers, supplied as 1 pack (10 rolls). It is a consumable, and it is worth understanding why a consumable matters more here than the price suggests: on a printing tester, the paper is the deliverable.

A battery test that stays on the screen is a technician's opinion. The same test on a printed slip is a document — one you can staple to the work order, hand across the counter, put in a fleet file, or attach to a manufacturer's warranty claim. When the roll runs out, the tester still tests perfectly well and quietly stops producing the only part of the job that anyone else can see.

One consumable, both testers

The same paper serves the BT300P and the BT600, which is a small convenience with a real effect on how a shop stocks. A workshop running a mix of the two — a unit on the bench, a unit that travels in the service van — keeps one item on the shelf and one line on the reorder list rather than tracking which machine takes which roll. If you buy a second tester later, or a different one of the pair, the spares you already hold do not become dead stock.

It also removes the most common cause of the wrong part arriving: someone reading a model number off the back of a machine under a bench, in bad light, and getting a digit wrong. Either way round, this is the paper.

Why the pack, rather than the roll

Paper gets bought the way it gets used — badly. It is invisible until the moment it matters, and the moment it matters is always mid-diagnosis with a customer waiting. Buying 1 pack (10 rolls) is the practical answer to that: it turns a recurring interruption into an occasional one, and it means the roll you fit today has a replacement sitting behind it rather than an order to place.

A reasonable habit for a busy bay is to load a fresh roll the moment the coloured warning stripe shows on the one in the machine, and to keep the rest of the pack somewhere dry and out of direct sunlight. Receipt-style rolls are sensitive to heat and light in storage — a pack left on a sunny windowsill or on top of a heater will not thank you for it. A closed drawer or a parts bin is enough.

A note on what a printed test is for

Three audiences make the printout worth having, and none of them will accept a verbal result.

The customer. A slip showing a measured result is what turns a battery recommendation from an upsell into a finding. It is also what stops the argument, because the number is on paper and dated.

The warranty department. Battery warranty claims are refused for want of evidence more often than for want of merit. A printed test result taken at the time is what closes that gap, and it costs a strip of paper.

The fleet or the file. If you test a fleet on a schedule, the slips are the record that shows the schedule was actually kept, and the trail that lets you see a battery declining across visits rather than dying without warning.

Perfect For

  • Independent workshops that print a test result for the customer as a matter of course.
  • Mobile and roadside technicians, where the paperwork has to be finished at the vehicle rather than back at base.
  • Fleet and municipal operations keeping a documented battery-health history per vehicle.
  • Parts counters and battery retailers testing on the spot before a sale or a warranty exchange.
  • Any shop already running a BT300P or BT600 that has run out once and would rather not do it again.

What's in the Box

1 pack (10 rolls) of replacement printer paper. Nothing else is included and nothing else is implied — this is a consumable, not a kit, so there is no printer mechanism, no battery, no cable and no tester in the box.

What we do not publish, and will not guess

We do not hold a stated roll width, roll length, paper thickness or core size for this item, and we will not approximate them. On a consumable that has to feed through a specific printer, an estimated width is worse than no width at all — it is a return, and an afternoon without a working printer. If you are buying this to fit something other than a BT300P or BT600, tell us the machine and we will check the roll against the manufacturer's documentation before you order.

For the same reason this page does not describe the printing method. Your tester's manual states how its printer works and what paper it takes; that document is the authority, not our listing, and it is the one to check if you are matching this pack to a machine you inherited rather than bought.

Certification and compliance

No third-party safety listing is published for this item and nothing on this page should be read as claiming one. That is the ordinary situation for a paper consumable rather than a gap worth worrying about — listings of that kind apply to the equipment doing the work, not to what it prints on. If a customer of yours, an auditor or an insurer needs documentation about the tester itself, that belongs with the tester's own paperwork, and we will help you obtain the current manufacturer document if you ask.

Delivery and pickup

This ships as a small parcel item within the lower 48 states, or you are welcome to collect it from the warehouse. The cost is calculated for your address during checkout rather than estimated here, because carrier pricing moves and a figure printed on a page goes stale. Check the pack over when it arrives and note anything wrong on the delivery paperwork at the time — paper that has been crushed or soaked in transit will not feed reliably, and a note made at delivery is what supports a claim afterwards.

Warranty

Terms and the claim process are published on our warranty claims page, and we will provide the current manufacturer document before you order if it matters to your decision. If a pack arrives faulty, keep it as it came and contact us before unrolling, cutting or trimming it. Altering a consumable makes it impossible for anyone to tell whether the fault was in the goods or in the fitting, and that is the question a claim turns on.
