Katool KT-CR2 Caster Kit
The KT-CR2 is a four-caster kit made for one lift and one lift only: the Katool KT-4H110 four-post. Each caster is rated at 0.5 ton, giving the set a combined rating of 2.0 tons, and its purpose is to turn a fixed four-post into one you can reposition. That single-model fitment is the most important thing on this page, so it is at the top rather than buried in a note at the bottom: if your four-post is not a KT-4H110, this is not your kit.
What the kit changes is not how the lift lifts. It changes where the lift lives. A four-post that can be rolled is a four-post you can put against a wall for storage duty, pull into the middle of the floor for a long job, and move out of the way entirely when a bay is needed for something else.
Why a rolling four-post is a different machine
A four-post lift is the most floor-hungry item most workshops own, and in a shop with a fixed layout it dictates everything else. Sat on casters, the same lift becomes a piece of equipment you plan around rather than build the building around. Home users get the version of this that matters most to them: the lift can be parked tight against a wall or in a corner when the garage has to be a garage again, and pulled back out when it is a workshop.
For a commercial shop the argument is usually seasonal or contractual. Work comes in that needs the space more than it needs the lift; a mobile lift is stored rather than surrendered. And when a floor is resurfaced, resealed or repainted, a lift that rolls is a morning's work rather than a project.
Reading the capacity figure correctly
The 0.5 ton per caster and 2.0 tons for the set describe the casters. That is a rating for the hardware you are buying, and it is there so you can see the kit is matched to the lift it is sold for. It is not an instruction, and it is not a rating for moving the lift with a vehicle on it. Repositioning is done with the lift empty and lowered, following the instructions in the lift's own manual, on a floor that is level and clear. Anyone who tells you different is guessing with your equipment.
Two other practical points fall out of the same reasoning. Casters roll — a lift on casters is not anchored, and the manual's requirements for use still apply once it is in position. And a floor that is smooth enough to roll on is not always a floor that is flat enough to work on; check both before you settle on a new spot.
Fitment: check this before you order
- The lift model. This kit is designed exclusively for the KT-4H110 four-post. Confirm your model from the lift's own plate or paperwork, not from memory or from a similar-looking photograph.
- The set is four. A four-post takes four casters. The kit is priced and supplied as the complete set, so there is no partial fit to work out.
- The floor. Rolling a four-post over expansion joints, drain channels or a broken slab is harder than the idea sounds. Walk the route the lift will actually take.
- Clearance at the destination. Measure the parked position with the lift's full footprint in mind, including approach ramps, before moving day rather than during it.
Perfect For
- Home garages where the lift has to share the building with cars, storage and everything else.
- Multi-use commercial space, where a bay changes job depending on what has come in.
- Storage-duty four-posts, used to stack vehicles and moved to suit the collection rather than the other way round.
- Anyone facing floor work — resurfacing, coating or repair — who would rather roll the lift aside than dismantle it.
What's in the kit
Four casters, sold as a set, for the KT-4H110 four-post lift. We do not publish a separate hardware or fixing list for the kit, and rather than invent one we will look it up for you: ask before you order if you need to know exactly what is in the box.

Delivery and collection
This kit ships to the lower 48, with the shipping cost calculated against your address at checkout rather than estimated in advance, and warehouse collection is available if that is easier. Check the parcel over before you sign for it — bent or damaged caster hardware is not always visible through packaging, so open it while the driver is there if you can, and record anything you find on the delivery note at the time. That note is what a claim rests on.
Warranty
Katool publishes a written warranty covering its products, and we will send you the current document before you order if the terms bear on your decision. If a caster fails, photograph it in place before removing it and contact us before any part of it is dismantled — a component that has already been taken apart is generally treated as modified, which turns a straightforward claim into an argument.
