A hand lever, not a foot pedal — and that is the point
Lifting a wheel assembly onto a balancer shaft is the single most injury-prone movement in a tire bay. It is done dozens of times a day, at the wrong height, with a load that is heavy, round and has no good handhold. The TT80 is a pneumatic wheel lift that takes that movement away — and the detail worth noticing is how you control it. Height is set with a manual control lever rather than a foot pedal. That sounds trivial until you have used both: a foot pedal requires the operator to stand in one place and balance while operating it, whereas a hand lever lets the technician adjust height with the wheel still steadied and the feet planted. Over a day of repetitions, that is the difference between an aid and an aid you actually use.
Vertical and horizontal, because one alone is not enough
Plenty of lifting aids raise a load. Fewer solve the second half of the problem, which is getting the wheel over the shaft once it is at height. The TT80 provides a maximum lifting height of 19.685" (500 mm) and a maximum horizontal travel of 23" (585 mm). The horizontal figure is the one that matters most in practice: with 23" of travel the wheel can be brought across and lined up over the spindle without the technician taking the weight to move it sideways. Lift alone would still leave the heaviest part of the job — the awkward, twisting placement — being done by hand.
Maximum lifting weight is 176 lbs (80 kg). That covers passenger, SUV and motorcycle assemblies comfortably, and it is a useful margin above the wheel weight limits most car and light truck balancers are rated for, so the lift is unlikely to be the constraint in your bay.

The supply figures match. The working pressure does not: the table gives a single value where the description gives a band with a higher ceiling. For most shops with a normal compressor this makes no practical difference, but if your air system runs close to the bottom of that band, or if you are sizing a regulator for this unit specifically, ask us to confirm the working pressure from the manufacturer's documentation before you order. What it changes in the bay
The productivity case for a wheel lift is usually made in terms of cycle time, and that is real — a technician who is not wrestling a wheel is a technician doing the next job. The stronger case is the one that does not show up in a time study. Repetitive lifting injuries do not arrive on the day they are caused; they accumulate, and they take out experienced people who are hard to replace. A pneumatic lift makes the heavy part of wheel balancing something the machine does every single time, including at the end of a long shift when a technician's own judgement about what they can safely lift is at its worst.
There is a quality argument too. A wheel that is placed onto the shaft in a controlled way, rather than heaved onto it, is less likely to be presented at an angle or to knock the shaft — and a knocked shaft is exactly what puts a balancer out of calibration. Careful placement protects both the rim's finish and the machine you are placing it on.
