Description
-Triumph NTR-24 Four-Post Lift, 24,000 lb Capacity
What makes the NTR-24 interesting is not that it lifts 24,000 lbs. It is that it does so while raising the vehicle to a full 70.8″ at the top of the runway and dropping to a 9″ minimum runway height — heavy-truck working height and easy drive-on, out of a machine measuring 150.1″ across and 300″ long before the approach ramps. Commercial capability, in other words, at a footprint a serious workshop can usually find rather than build.
Power is 220V single phase. For a lift in this class that is worth saying plainly, because it means the electrical work is a circuit rather than a service upgrade, and a building without three-phase is not automatically out of the running.
While supplies last this lift is supplied with a Chicago Pneumatic CP WallAIR 1.5-HP wall-mount air compressor, hose reel and inflation kit; the option to add the compressor is presented at checkout.
Measuring up the bay
Four-post lifts are bought on capacity and installed on dimensions. Every figure below is one for you to check against your own building before ordering — we cannot see your bay, your roof or your slab, and the measurement that stops an installation is always the one nobody took.
- Floor length. 300″ without the approach ramps and 338.9″ with them. Ramps are not spare space; they are how the vehicle gets on.
- Floor width. 150.1″ overall. Add working room on both sides — a bay sized to the lift exactly is a bay you cannot walk around with a jack.
- Drive-through. 131.8″ of clear width between the columns. This is the figure that limits what can physically be driven onto the lift, and it bites long before capacity does.
- Overhead. The structure is 93.1″ tall. Your usable ceiling must clear that plus the vehicle you intend to raise plus any services running above the bay.
- Runway geometry. Runways are 289.9″ long and 24″ wide, adjustable from 45.3″ to 49.2″ apart, with outside edges spanning 93.3″ to 97.2″. Check those ranges against the track width of the widest vehicle you service, including anything with dual rear wheels.
- Approach. Minimum runway height is 9″, which is what the ramps have to bridge. Vehicles with long front overhangs need a look at this before delivery, not after.
- Concrete and power. Slab requirements are set out in the manufacturer's spec sheet; confirm your own floor against them, and have an electrician confirm the 220V circuit ahead of the install date.
Height where the work happens
A lift that stops short is a lift you stoop under. At 70.8″ to the top of the runway, a technician of ordinary height stands upright beneath a truck chassis rather than crouching, and that changes what a full day of exhaust, driveline or brake work feels like. Nine mechanical lock positions mean the vehicle can be parked at the height that suits the job instead of the nearest one the lift will hold, and it is the steel locks — not the hydraulics — that carry the vehicle while you work under it.
The low end of the range matters just as much in daily use. A 9″ minimum runway height keeps the approach shallow, which is what makes loading a low-slung trailer, a laden van or anything with a long front overhang a routine manoeuvre rather than a two-person operation with a spotter.
Where this lift sits in a working shop
24,000 lbs covers most of what a general commercial workshop actually sees: box trucks, larger vans, shuttle buses, tow vehicles, service bodies and the heavier end of pickup and RV work. It is the capacity a fleet operation reaches for when a conventional four-post is not enough and a purpose-built heavy-truck installation is more machine and more building than the work justifies.
The lift ships at 6,614 lbs, and that number governs delivery day more than any other on the page. It arrives as freight, and it needs machine handling to put it on the ground.
Perfect For
- Mixed commercial fleets — vans, box trucks and light buses maintained under one roof.
- Independent truck and service shops that have outgrown a standard-capacity four-post.
- RV and motorhome work, where drive-on height and runway length matter as much as the number on the plate.
- Council, utility and contractor depots keeping their own vehicles serviceable in-house.
- Shops with 220V single-phase supply only, which rules out a good deal of comparable equipment.

On certification
Our data carries no third-party lift safety listing for the NTR-24, and rather than leave that to inference we will say it directly. Plenty of buyers never need one. The buyers who do are usually operating under an insurance schedule, a corporate or municipal equipment policy, or a local rule that names a particular listed standard by name — and in those settings the requirement is not negotiable after the fact. Find out what you are obliged to hold, get it in writing, and let us know what it says; an honest answer now is worth more to both of us than a sale that fails an audit later.
Freight, unloading and inspection
Delivery is by freight throughout the lower 48, priced live against your address at checkout so what you see is a current carrier rate rather than a figure that has been sitting in a table. Unloading is the receiver's responsibility, and at 6,614 lbs that means a forklift rated for it or a dock — not willing hands. If neither is realistic where the lift is going, collecting from the carrier's terminal is usually simpler, since the terminal is already equipped; decide which before the shipment leaves. A residential delivery carries a residential fee, added at checkout when you choose it, and warehouse pickup is available for Triumph lifts at the locations shown further down this page.
Then inspect it properly. Go round the crate before signing anything: crushed corners, torn wrapping, broken banding, oil, and any sign the load has moved. Write it on the bill of lading in front of the driver and photograph everything. A signature on a clean bill is the carrier's evidence that the freight arrived undamaged, and reversing that later is close to impossible.
Warranty and claims
Ask us for the current Triumph warranty document if the terms matter to your decision, and ask before ordering rather than afterwards. Whatever the terms say, one thing holds across every hydraulic lift on the market: if a component fails, leave it assembled until the claim is open. Power units, cylinders and lock mechanisms that have already been taken apart are routinely treated as modified, and cover that would have been honoured evaporates. Photograph the fault, note the serial number, and contact us before anyone reaches for a spanner.
