Description
-Triumph NSS8X-1 Easy Park: the 8,000 lb four-post sold delivered
This listing exists for one reason, and it is worth saying plainly rather than burying it. The NSS8X-1 is the delivery-included configuration of the Easy Park four-post: its feature list on this page states free residential delivery, which is exactly the part of buying a car lift that catches home buyers out. A four-post is a freight shipment, not a parcel, and the gap between the price of the lift and the cost of getting it to a house is the number most people discover late. Here it is settled at the point of sale.
The lift itself is an 8,000 lbs four-post built around a residential garage rather than a workshop bay: 175 inches long, 106 inches wide, 84 inches tall, running on ordinary 110V power with no dedicated circuit to install first. It parks one car above another, and it lifts a car to 72 inches so you can work under it properly.
Included while supplies last: a Chicago Pneumatic CP WallAIR 1.5-HP wall-mount air compressor with hose reel and inflation kit. The option to add it appears at checkout.
Will It Fit?
A garage that is nearly big enough is a garage that is not big enough. Every figure here is yours to check against a tape measure before you order, because none of it is adjustable afterwards.
- Ceiling. The lift stands 84 inches empty. For stacking, what decides it is the roof height of the vehicle you put on top, at whichever lock you park it on, against your own ceiling. Measure the cars, not just the lift.
- Floor length. 175 inches overall, and you want walking room past each end rather than the exact figure.
- Floor width. 106 inches. In a single-car garage this is usually the measurement that decides yes or no, so take it first.
- Getting the car between the posts. Drive-through width is 93 inches. Runways are 18 inches wide, spaced 37 inches apart, and 165 inches long.
- Power. 110V, from a normal garage outlet. No electrician, no three-phase supply, no delay between delivery and first use.
- Foundation. Triumph's manual and spec sheet for this model are the authority on the slab and on anchoring. Ask us for the current copies and read the foundation section before the truck is booked.
The parking-space argument
Most NSS8X-1 buyers are not building a workshop. They are trying to keep a car and still park a car, in a garage that was designed for one. Stacked vertically, two vehicles occupy one footprint of 175 inches by 106 inches, and the vehicle underneath stays usable every day rather than being buried behind the one you actually drive. That is a different calculation from a service lift. It is closer to the cost of a storage unit, except the car stays at home, stays dry, and stays yours to look at.
How it holds the car up
The vehicle rests on mechanical locks, not on hydraulic pressure, and there are 10 of them so you can park at whatever height suits the garage and the job. That distinction matters most on a lift that holds a car for months rather than minutes: hydraulics can seep, and steel locks engaged in a ladder do not. Lowering is a single-point release, so all four columns drop together instead of you walking the lift and freeing each corner in turn, and a full raise takes 40 seconds. The lift transfers its load to the floor through base plates measuring 12 inches by 12 inches.
Getting a car on, and moving the lift
Drive-on ramps do the loading, which is the reason a four-post suits an owner who is nervous about lift points and pinch welds. There is nothing to position under the sills and nothing to get wrong. The lift also ships with caster wheels so it can be rolled to a different wall or pushed aside when the garage is needed for something else, with one restriction that is not advice but a rule: the casters are for moving the lift empty. No vehicle may be on it while it is being moved.
Perfect For
- Home garages short of a parking space, which is the situation this lift is designed and priced around.
- Buyers with no forklift and no loading dock, since delivery to a residential address is part of this listing rather than a surprise at checkout.
- Owners of a weekend car and a daily driver who want both under one roof and both accessible.
- Light service work at home, brakes, fluids, exhaust and inspection, at a height where you are not lying on cold concrete.
What's in the Box
- Four columns, two runways and the hydraulic power unit
- Drive-on approach ramps
- Caster wheels for relocating the lift when no vehicle is on it
- Mechanical locking system with a single-point release
- Installation hardware and the manual
Jack trays and drip trays are the usual first additions once the lift is in use, and they are cheaper to plan for now than to go looking for later.

Certification, stated plainly
We do not list a third-party lift safety certification for this model, and we are not going to suggest one we cannot show you. For a private garage that question rarely arises. It does arise for some commercial insurance policies, for fleet and municipal use, and for local jurisdictions that name a specific certification in their code, so if any of that describes you, settle it before you order rather than after the lift is anchored. Call and ask what we hold; an honest answer now is worth more than a badge on a web page.
Shipping and delivery
This lift moves by freight truck to addresses in the lower 48 states, and this listing is the one that includes residential delivery, which is why it is offered separately from the standard model. What that does not remove is the receiving job: once the crate is on the ground it is a heavy object on your driveway, and moving it into the garage is still yours to arrange. Have a plan and some help ready for the day, or space to leave it where it lands.
Inspect it before you sign. Look for crushed corners, gouges, shifted banding and oil, note anything you find on the bill of lading while the driver is still present, and photograph the crate from several angles. A clean signature is the carrier's proof that everything arrived undamaged, and arguing with it afterwards rarely works.
Warranty
Triumph publishes warranty terms covering this lift and our warranty claims page sets out how to start a claim; ask us for the current documents before ordering if the terms are part of your decision. One warning applies to every hydraulic lift whoever built it. If something fails, do not take the power unit, a cylinder or a lock mechanism apart before the claim is open. A disassembled component is usually treated as a modified one and that is the quickest way to lose cover you would otherwise have had. Photograph the fault, note the serial number, and call first.
If you have a forklift, a dock, or a commercial address, the Triumph NSS-8 is the same size of lift without the delivery service built into the listing.
