Atlas 12ASL Scissor Lift and RJ-6 Rolling Jack Combo: Decide the Mounting Before You Buy
There is one decision on this package that cannot be undone afterwards, and it is not the capacity. The 12ASL installs either flush with your floor or on the surface of it, and the two are different projects. Flush mount means cutting and preparing a recess so the lift sits level with the slab and the bay is clear floor when the lift is down. Surface mount means the lift bolts to the slab as it is: faster, cheaper, movable later, with a structure standing proud of the floor. Both are supported. Only one of them is easy to change your mind about.
Everything else about this package is straightforward. A 12,000 lbs scissor lift, two RJ-6 rolling jacks rated 6,000 lbs each, and 72" ramps.
Flush or Surface: How to Choose

Choose flush if the bay does other work when the lift is not in use, if you push tool carts and creepers across it, or if a clean floor matters to how the shop presents to customers.

Choose surface if the building is leased, if the slab is not suitable for cutting, if the lift may move to another bay later, or if you want it working the week it arrives.

Either way, the slab requirement is in the Atlas manual for this model and meeting it is the buyer's responsibility. Get the concrete assessed before you order, not after — that single check prevents the most expensive mistake in this category.
What the Rolling Jacks Add
The lift raises the vehicle; the jacks raise it off the lift. Each RJ-6 is rated 6,000 lbs, rolls along the lift structure and lifts a wheel end clear so tires, brakes and suspension can be worked on without the vehicle being repositioned. They run on air over hydraulic power, which is why they lift smoothly and why they will not work without shop air. Two are included in this package.
The practical value shows up in a busy day rather than on a spec sheet. Raising one axle instead of manoeuvring the whole vehicle saves a few minutes per job; across a week of brake work it is a meaningful amount of bay time, and it is easier on the technician doing it.
Ramps, and the Floor Space Nobody Allows For
The ramps are 72" long. That length is what lets a low or long-wheelbase vehicle drive on without scraping, and it is also 72" of floor in front of the lift that has to stay clear. When a bay is measured on paper, the lift is usually drawn and the ramps forgotten. Measure the ramp run, then measure the approach in front of it, and check that a door can still open at the end of the bay.

Certification
This lift is CE certified. A CE marking is a manufacturer's declaration against European directives covering static and dynamic loading. It is a real standard and it is not nothing, but it is not the same document as an independent North American third-party lift safety listing, and it should not be read as one.
Most buyers will never be asked. Some are: certain insurers, fleet operators and local authorities require the North American listing by name and will not accept a European declaration instead. If that is your situation, get the requirement stated in writing and speak to us before you order so it can be checked properly.
Shipping and Delivery
Freight to the lower 48 states, arriving as more than one item — the lift and the two jacks ship separately. Check the count against the paperwork before the driver pulls away.
Unloading is the customer's responsibility. Commercial or residential delivery is available where you have a forklift; where you do not, take terminal pickup or collect from one of our warehouse locations with your own equipment. Residential delivery carries a residential fee. Freight is quoted live at checkout using your ZIP code, so the figure shown is your real lane on the day rather than an average.
Inspect the freight before signing for it. Damage written onto the bill of lading in front of the driver is a claim; damage discovered after a clean signature is an argument. Photograph anything that looks wrong, however minor it seems at the time.
Warranty
