Description
-Motorcycle Lift | Atlas Cyclelift Air Operated 1,000 lb Capacity
Motorcycle Lift | Atlas Cyclelift Air Operated 1,000 lb Capacity
The detail that decides this lift is the back of the deck. The Cyclelift carries a 19 1/2" removable rear section, and the important word is section rather than plate: the full width of the platform lifts out, not a strip down the middle. Take it away and a rear wheel drops straight down off the axle with nothing to clear on either side - so it does not matter how wide the rim is, how fat the tire is, or how little clearance the swingarm leaves. On lifts where only a narrow panel is removable, a wide rear wheel has to be angled and dragged out, which is exactly when rotors get bent and paint gets marked.
Long enough for the bike you actually own
The diamond plate platform measures 93" (7' 9") without the ramp. That length exists for touring bikes, dressers and stretched cruisers, the machines that hang off the back of an ordinary table and leave the rear wheel unsupported at precisely the moment you want to work on it. Add the 20" removable approach ramp and the overall length becomes 113" (9' 5"). The deck itself is 24" wide, which is a motorcycle table - this is the narrow, long configuration, not the wide ATV one.
Air in, foot on the pedal
The lift is air operated and needs an external supply, not included, at a published requirement of 90-100 PSI. Behind that is a 7" cylinder with a 6" internal size, and it is worth understanding what a cylinder of that size buys you: air pressure acts across the piston area, so a larger bore produces a smoother, steadier rise at a given line pressure rather than a hurried one. Full lift height is 33" (2' 9"); the deck lowers to 7 1/4" for loading. Control is a heavy duty air-operated foot valve, so both hands stay on the motorcycle while it moves.
What holds the bike still
An adjustable padded front wheel vise is included and clamps the front wheel upright - the single most useful component on any bike lift, and the one people improvise badly when it is missing. The stabilizing bar is also included at no extra charge, increasing the footprint of the raised platform. That footprint is what absorbs a technician's weight leaning in over a raised machine, and it is a component worth confirming is present when you compare one lift package against another.
Will it fit your space?
Length is the constraint, not headroom. You need floor for 113" (9' 5") with the ramp attached, plus clear run-up space beyond it and working room down both sides of a 24" deck. There is no anchoring and no electrical requirement; you need an air line reaching the lift's position and flat, solid floor beneath it. Receiving it needs planning too: it arrives crated at 500 lbs. Confirming floor space, air supply and the delivery route is the customer's responsibility, and it is worth doing with a tape measure before the freight is booked.
Perfect For
- Motorcycle dealers and independent bike shops - the full-width rear section pays for itself in wheel-out time.
- Touring and cruiser owners whose machines overhang shorter tables.
- Tire and wheel work specifically, where dropping a wide rear wheel straight down is the whole job.
- Well-equipped home garages with air already run to the working area.

Certification, stated honestly
There is no independent third-party safety listing recorded for this lift in the data we hold, and we would rather put that in writing than let it be inferred. Most private owners are never asked. Dealerships and commercial shops sometimes are, because an insurer, a manufacturer's dealer standard or a local inspection regime can specify lifting equipment carrying a recognised listing. Where that applies, obtain the requirement in writing from the party imposing it and contact us before ordering so we can send you the manufacturer documentation that exists.
Shipping and Delivery
Freight, lower 48 states, crated at 500 lbs. That calls for a forklift or a dock at the delivery end, or terminal pickup instead; warehouse collection is available at the Atlas locations shown further down this page. Residential delivery can be booked and carries a fee. We quote freight live at checkout rather than printing a figure, because carrier pricing moves.
Inspect before signing, every time. Check the piece count against the paperwork, look over the platform edges and the ramp for impact damage, and record anything you find on the bill of lading while the driver is still there. Once you have signed clean, the shipment is treated as having arrived in good condition.
Warranty
The Cyclelift is covered by a 1 Year Warranty on parts - covered components are supplied, and fitting labor is not included.
Do not open an air or hydraulic assembly before speaking to us. Once it has been dismantled nobody can determine what failed, and that step alone is responsible for more rejected claims than the failures it was meant to diagnose. Photograph it, leave it intact, and get in touch.
The Atlas® Cyclelift motorcycle lift comes standard with a 19 1/2" removable rear section. This 19 1/2" section can be easily removed so that a rear tire can be "dropped straight down" from the rear axle. Since the entire platform width is removed, any sized rim can be lowered from the axle.![]()
