Product Description

AMGO RJ-10A: the bridge jack sized for the lifts everything else is too small for

Bridge jacks are usually specified against the car. The RJ-10A is specified against the lift, and that is the whole point of it. AMGO positions it for four-post and scissor lifts with a capacity exceeding 18,000 lbs — the heavy-duty platforms that carry vans, crew cabs, box trucks and fleet vehicles — and gives it 10,000 lbs of its own capacity to match. If you have a heavy-duty four-post and have been trying to make a passenger-car bridge jack work on it, this is the model that actually spans and actually lifts.

Underneath the numbers, the construction claim is specific enough to check: a strengthened solid steel-frame scissor, not a light fabricated linkage. On a jack that has to stay steady with a loaded axle in the air while somebody puts a bar on a wheel nut, frame stiffness is not marketing — it is what stops the whole assembly from working like a spring.

Will It Fit? Measure the gap between your runways

For a bridge jack there is exactly one fitment question that matters, and getting it wrong means the jack physically cannot be used: how far apart are your lift's runways? Measure inside face to inside face, at the point along the runway where the jack will work, and check it in more than one place rather than trusting the brochure for your lift.

  • Support base width. The adjustable lower sliding assembly fits runway gaps from 39 9/16 inches to 56 1/2 inches. Note the lower figure: this is a wide jack, and on a narrow-runway four-post it will not sit down. If your lift is a lighter passenger-car platform, check this number before anything else.
  • Getting it under the vehicle. The factory sheet gives a minimum height of 11 inches with a minimum rubber pad height of 11 1/4 inches. A stored field on this product says 13.75 inches instead — see the note below.
  • Lift range. 21 5/8 inches on the pads alone, 30 5/8 inches with the adapters fitted.
  • Overall width. 21 5/8 inches.
  • Air supply. The pump is pneumatic and runs at 0.8 MPa, so the lift needs a shop air line within reach of wherever the jack is being used.

Checking these against your own lift, and against your own compressor, is the buyer's responsibility. We cannot see your equipment from here, and a bridge jack that does not span your runways is not a warranty matter.

Two figures that disagree, and what we did about them

Arm pad reach is given two ways in the data we hold: the feature list on this page says a maximum of 66 3/8 inches and a minimum of 38 7/16 inches, while the stored factory specification says 38 3/8 inches to 66 5/16 inches. A sixteenth of an inch at each end will not change what the jack can do, but we are showing both rather than picking one. The stored minimum-height field is a larger disagreement — 13.75 inches against the factory sheet's 11 inches — so ask us to confirm that one if your clearance is tight. Three rounded fields (lifting height 2.75 ft, maximum width 5.5 ft, minimum width 3.25 ft) reconcile with nothing measured and are not used here.

Air over hydraulics, and why it matters on a jack this size

The RJ-10A runs a pneumatic hydraulic pump from your shop air rather than a hand pump. On a small jack that is a convenience; on a 10,000 lbs jack it is closer to a requirement, because pumping effort scales with the load and a hand-pumped jack under a loaded truck axle is a genuinely tiring piece of equipment. Air over hydraulics gives a steady, repeatable rate and keeps you standing beside the jack watching the pads rather than bent inside the wheel arch working a handle.

Locks, arms and the parts that survive a working bay

The jack holds height on a manual safety lock with two locking positions. Two positions rather than one is a working-comfort decision: a wheel-off brake job and an underbody inspection want the vehicle at different heights, and a single lock height forces one of those jobs to be done at the wrong one. As on any lift, the sequence is the same — hydraulics raise the load, the mechanical lock holds it, and nothing goes under the vehicle until the jack is set down on a lock.

The arms telescope so the pads can be placed on the manufacturer's lift points rather than on whatever happens to sit above the jack, and the rubber pad assemblies spread that load across a pinch weld or subframe pad instead of concentrating it. The extension adapters listed in the product features are what let you reach a lift point that sits high relative to the sill, which is normal on pickups and on anything with a plastic under-tray.

The guardrail does two unglamorous jobs. It gives you something to push against when sliding the jack along the runway — which, on a jack this size, you will appreciate — and it keeps the oil hose from being dragged over the runway edge, which is how these hoses usually die.

Perfect For

  • Heavy-duty four-post and scissor lifts rated above 18,000 lbs, which is the pairing this jack exists for.
  • Fleet and commercial shops doing wheels-off work on vans, crew cabs and light commercials.
  • Alignment bays that need to get the wheels free without moving the vehicle off the rack.
  • High-volume tyre work, where an air pump rather than a hand pump is the difference between a good day and a long one.

What's in the Box

Per AMGO's own feature list: the pneumatic hydraulic pump, the full set of extension adapters and heavy-duty rubber pad assemblies described in the features above, the telescoping arms, the adjustable lower sliding assembly, and the guardrail. If you need the crate contents confirmed item by item before ordering, ask us and we will read them off the current packing list rather than guess.

Certification, stated plainly

Our record for this product does not state a third-party safety listing of any kind. That is missing information rather than a statement by the manufacturer either way, and saying so is more useful to you than an implication. In a private garage the question rarely arises. It does arise for some commercial insurance policies, for fleet and municipal operations, and for jurisdictions whose code names a specific listing. If that applies to you, ask us before ordering and we will put the question to the manufacturer in writing rather than answer it from a sales sheet.

Shipping and delivery

This ships by freight truck to addresses in the lower 48 states, with freight quoted live at checkout against your own address, so the figure you see is a current carrier rate rather than a stale estimate. It arrives crated on a standard trailer and getting it to the ground is the receiver's job — a forklift, a machine, or a plan and some help. Where none of those exist, collecting from the carrier's local terminal is usually easier, because the terminal already has the equipment. Delivery to a residential address carries a residential fee, applied at checkout when you select it.

Inspect before you sign: crushed corners, bent steel, shifted banding, any trace of oil. Write what you find on the bill of lading while the driver is still there, and photograph it. A clean signature is the carrier's evidence that the load arrived undamaged.

Warranty

AMGO publishes a written warranty covering this product and we hold the document rather than a summary — ask us for the current copy before ordering if the terms matter to your decision. One warning applies to every hydraulic lift whoever built it: if something fails, do not open the power unit, a cylinder or a lock mechanism before a claim is raised. A disassembled component is normally treated as a modified one, and that is the quickest way to lose cover that would otherwise have been paid. Photograph the fault, note the serial number, and call us first.
