Two recovery figures, and what each one is telling you
The specification carries both, and they are not in conflict — they answer different questions. Recovery efficiency is quoted as up to 98.5%: that is what the machine can achieve. Recovery performance is quoted separately as greater than 95% at 70–75°F in under 30 minutes: that is what it achieves against the clock, at a stated temperature, which is the version that predicts what happens on a Tuesday afternoon with three cars waiting.
We are printing both rather than the flattering one, because a shop planning bay time should plan against the timed figure and a shop comparing machines should compare like with like. If a competing machine quotes only one number, it is worth asking which of these two it is.
The pump and the cylinder
The vacuum pump is 1.5 CFM and dual-stage. The dual-stage part is the one that matters: a two-stage pump reaches a deeper vacuum than a single-stage pump of the same displacement, and depth of vacuum is what actually boils moisture out of a system rather than merely lowering the pressure in it. Moisture left behind is what turns into acid and takes out the next compressor, so this is a longevity feature disguised as a spec line.
The internal cylinder is a 30 lb DOT tank with 21 lb usable capacity, and the difference between those two figures is worth understanding before you plan around it. Android, and why that changes the machine
The 10-inch capacitive LCD runs Android-based controls. That is not a styling note. It means the interface can be a modern application rather than a menu tree — full-screen guidance through a service, legible status, and a workflow a technician can follow without having learned this specific machine first. In a shop where the A/C machine is shared between bays and shifts, that is the practical difference between one person who knows the machine and a team that can all use it correctly.
Wireless: updates, printing and accessories

Certifications, quoted exactly as published
The specification for this machine lists three: SAE J2843, SAE J2927 and UL 1963. We have reproduced that list exactly and added nothing to it. It is worth knowing what each is for, because they are not interchangeable — the two SAE standards are performance standards for refrigerant handling and for refrigerant identification respectively, while UL 1963 is the equipment standard for refrigerant recovery and recycling equipment. None of the three says anything about who may operate the machine; refrigerant-handling credentials sit with your technicians and are a separate requirement. If a manufacturer's warranty programme, an insurer or a contract asks for documentation beyond these three, ask us before you order and we will obtain it from the manufacturer rather than let this page imply an answer.
Shipping and Delivery
Freight only, within the lower 48 states. Work out the unload before the truck is booked: a dock, a forklift, or collection from the carrier's terminal, which is often the easier option for a shop without either. Delivery to a residential address is possible and carries a residential fee, quoted live at checkout rather than stated here, because freight pricing moves. Inspect the crate while the driver is still on site and write anything you find on the bill of lading before signing — a clean signature closes the easy route to a claim, and this machine contains a calibrated scale and a charged internal cylinder that will not tell you they have been mishandled.
