The BendPak PL-6000DC 2 post parking lift is designed to offer efficient vehicle storage and parking solutions without sacrificing usability or safety. With a rated lifting capacity of 6,000 lb, it is capable of handling sedans, SUVs, and many light trucks. Its design is optimized for both long-term and short-term parking applications, such as residential garages, commercial facilities, or office buildings seeking to maximize parking density.
This 2 post parking lift features dual telescoping direct-drive hydraulic cylinders. This means the lift does not rely on chains or screw mechanisms, which simplifies maintenance and improves reliability. As the platform lowers, gravity helps drive it down, which means that no motor power is consumed during descent—this lowers operating cost and reduces wear. The posts can be ganged together with shared columns, allowing multiple lifts to be installed side by side while minimizing wasted space. This shared-column design offers flexibility in layout planning, especially where multiple vehicle parking is needed in tight footprints.
For electrical requirements, the PL-6000DC 2 post parking lift supports 220–420 V, single or three phase. The hydraulic power pack is rated around 2.2 kW. Normal lift and lower times are approximately 50 seconds for lifting, and 45 seconds for lowering, under typical load conditions.

Automatic Safety Device
Powerful load-holding devices automatically engage and lock the lift structure as the parking lift raises, preventing sudden free fall in the unlikely event of a suspension component failure. Typically, after the lift is raised to the required working height, operators are instructed to lower the lift until it is resting safely on the locks to minimize wear on suspension components.
