This is a Value Package, and that word is doing real work. Quincy builds the QGS-20S airend, the 132 gallon horizontal receiver and the refrigerated air dryer as one factory assembly rather than three items you buy separately and connect on site. The interconnecting pipework, the mounting and the control wiring are already done and already matched.

Anyone who has commissioned a compressor room from parts knows why that matters. The dryer bought separately arrives with its own footprint, its own inlet and outlet sizes and its own opinion about where the receiver should sit; the pipework between them becomes a small fabrication job, and the first place moisture appears is invariably a joint somebody made on a Friday. A packaged unit removes that whole category of problem, and it removes the argument about whose fault a fault is.

One honest caveat on the output. The marketing copy that has run on this page states 60.9 CFM, and that is the figure we have carried forward. The product's own specification metafield records a very slightly different value for the same rating. Shipping and delivery

Freight only, within the lower 48 states, and the freight cost is calculated live at checkout for your address instead of being printed on this page — carrier pricing moves, and a number frozen into a description eventually becomes a disagreement. At well over half a ton in a tall crate, this is not a shipment a driver can hand down. Have a loading dock, a forklift with the capacity to take it off the trailer, or arrange to collect it from the carrier's terminal. Delivery to a residential address carries a residential fee. Inspect the crate on arrival, and note any damage on the bill of lading before you sign — once it is signed clean, the carrier's position is that it arrived intact.

Warranty

Standard recorded cover is 1 Year consumer and 1 Year commercial. An extended 3 Year factory warranty is available, and the True Blue 5-Year warranty applies when a Quincy authorized start-up commissions the machine. That start-up is a precondition of the longer cover rather than an optional service call, so schedule it with the installation. If a fault appears, stop the compressor and speak to us before anything is opened up: a unit that has already been taken apart is a much harder claim to support, and on a package this size that is a lot of coverage to risk.
