Read together, that pattern looks like the 125 psi build's feature list sitting alongside the 150 psi model designation. It may well be exactly that, but a compressor is not a machine to buy on a likely reading: the pressure your tooling needs is either there or it is not. What 100% duty is worth on a 10 HP machine
These compressors are produced in Italy by Atlas Copco. The airend is rated for continuous operation — 100% duty — which is the structural difference between this and the piston compressor it usually replaces. A piston unit is rated to run for part of each hour and to rest for the remainder, and exceeding that is what cooks it. A screw compressor has no rest requirement, so you size it by how much air the shop consumes rather than by how long it is allowed to run. On a busy day that changes the machine from something you nurse to something you ignore.
Why the 132 gallon receiver is not just storage
Screw compressors do not need a tank to smooth out pump pulses; a rotary airend delivers continuous flow. The receiver here is doing something more useful. It absorbs the moment when three technicians pull air simultaneously, so line pressure at the far end of the shop does not dip while the compressor comes on load. It gives moisture a cool volume to condense in before it reaches your lines, which is why the tank drain matters and why it should be checked on a schedule. Leave working clearance on the panel side and the cooler side; a compressor boxed into a corner with no airflow will trip on temperature in summer no matter how well it was sized. Approvals, stated plainly
What this data actually claims is an electrical-panel approval: UL, cUL and CSA on the control panel, inside a NEMA 1 enclosure. That is a statement about the panel, not about the pressure vessel. This page makes no registration claim about the receiver in either direction. If your insurer, your jurisdiction or your plant safety programme requires vessel documentation for a tank this size, ask us before ordering and we will chase it from the manufacturer rather than let you assume it is in the crate.
Shipping and delivery
This travels as palletised freight within the lower 48 states, and the cost is quoted live at checkout rather than estimated, because freight lanes move. You will need a way to get roughly 589 lbs off a truck — forklift, dock, or a terminal collection, which plenty of shops without a dock choose deliberately. A delivery to a residential address attracts a residential fee. Inspect the shipment before you sign for it: look over the tank shell, the shroud and the pallet itself, and record anything you find on the bill of lading with the driver present.
