Katool KT-T830 Wheel Clamp Tire Changer Machine

The Katool KT-T830 Wheel Clamp Tire Changer is a powerhouse for changing tires with ease! Its tough alloy steel jaw and stainless steel mounting head are designed for durability. T

The Katool KT-T830 Wheel Clamp Tire Changer offers a strong combination of durability, precision, and user-friendly features that make it a reliable tool for automotive repair shops focused on tire service. Built with solid materials and engineered components, the KT-T830 is ideal for handling a wide range of wheel sizes while protecting rims and easing operator workload.

At the heart of the KT-T830 wheel clamp machine is a 2.0 HP (1.5 kW) motor running on standard 120 V single-phase power. This motor produces ample torque to tackle tight beads and stiff wheels, while its pure copper winding ensures better heat dissipation and a lower failure rate under continuous use. The rotation speed of the turntable is 6.8 revolutions per minute, striking a balance between speed and control during mounting and demounting.

The KT-T830 wheel clamp tire changer can accommodate wheels as large as 41 inches in diameter and as wide as 15 inches, covering most passenger and light truck applications. Its clamping system consists of an outside clamp range of 12 to 22 inches and an inside clamp range of 14 to 24 inches. These ranges offer flexibility and adaptability for various wheel dimensions and designs.

One of the valued features is the alloy steel jaws, precisely treated with carburization of 0.8 to 1.1 mm and full quenching. This treatment gives the jaw interiors toughness while keeping the exterior hardened, and paired with protective jaw covers, these jaws help minimize damage to wheel finishes. The mounting head is crafted from stainless steel, polished and shaped to reduce friction, and includes a plastic cover to safeguard delicate rim surfaces.

For easier operation, the KT-T830 uses a pull-type pedal control system and includes an inflation gauge that is pedal-controlled as well. The spade cover protects rims during inflation, and the bead breaker is powered by a stainless steel cylinder measuring 186 mm (7.32 inches), delivering consistent force. The machine has double side assist arms to help with stubborn beads or low-profile tires, boosting operator ease and safety.
