Katool PMRL-200 8,000 lbs Portable 2 Post Lift

The Katool PMRL-200 portable 2 post lift is a powerful and adaptable lifting solution designed for professional garages, workshops, and advanced automotive enthusiasts who need both performance and flexibility. With an impressive 8,000 lb lifting capacity, this unit merges the stability of a traditional 2 post lift with the convenience of a portable design, allowing it to serve as a semi-permanent installation or a mobile lift when the situation demands. Built with rugged, heavy-duty steel and precision-engineered hydraulics, it offers durability, accuracy, and ease of operation for technicians working on a wide variety of vehicles.

The PMRL-200’s detachable modular construction sets it apart from conventional fixed-column lifts. Once the anchor bolts are removed, each column can be repositioned with its built-in wheeled base, providing exceptional mobility that lets you adapt to changing shop layouts or repurpose your floor space for other projects. This makes it a smart investment for repair shops with limited space or those needing flexibility to handle varying workloads. The compact footprint of each column, measuring just 18.11 inches in width and 36 inches in depth, allows efficient placement even in narrow bays while maintaining full vehicle access.

Power and balance are at the core of the PMRL-200’s design. The hydraulic system is engineered to deliver smooth, controlled lifting and lowering, preventing abrupt starts or stops that can stress vehicle frames or suspension systems. Its swing arms extend from 29.3 to 45 inches, accommodating a wide range of vehicle widths and wheelbases, while the pads adjust easily for optimal contact points. The minimum pad height is just 5.25 inches, making it easy to lift vehicles with low ground clearance. When fully extended with adapters, the lift reaches a maximum height of 51.3 inches, providing ample working space for wheel, brake, and undercarriage service.

Every component of the PMRL-200 reflects Katool’s commitment to quality and safety. The lift is rated for an 8,000 lb total capacity, tested for unbalanced loads, and equipped to handle up to 3,500 lb on each axle and 1,750 lb per arm. The columns rise 71.8 inches, maintaining rigidity and precise alignment over repeated lifting cycles. With a total shipping weight of approximately 1,350 lb, this lift requires proper unloading equipment such as a forklift or hoist upon delivery. Attempting to unload manually is not feasible due to the size and mass of the components.

This model operates on standard 110-volt power and requires a 30-amp breaker. Its portable nature does not compromise its performance, but operators should use caution when handling heavy or unbalanced loads. While it is engineered for safety, proper load placement and routine inspection of anchors, hoses, and mechanical components are essential for long-term reliability.
