Shipping-FAQ's
Shipping Info
At Mechanic Superstore, our commitment is to provide you with the best customer service possible. For this reason, we offer you all kinds of delivery options so that you can choose the one that suits you best.

I Have The Equipment To Unload My Order
- Do you have a forklift, a high-capacity hoist, or a tractor in your facility? In that case, this option may be the one for you.Aspects to keep in mind when choosing this option.
- The most popular 2-post lifts (with 9,000 lb and 10,000 lb capacity) have a shipping weight of approximately 1,400 lbs and 1,900 lbs, respectively. On the other hand, a 15,000 lb capacity 2-post lift has a 2,700 lb shipping weight.
- Given the packaged lift and hydraulic power unit’s weight, they cannot be unloaded from the trailer by hand. Simply put, IT IS MANDATORY TO USE A SUITABLE FORKLIFT OR HOIST FOR UNLOADING THE LIFT.
- You are solely responsible for unloading your equipment from the truck. The truck driver cannot do this for you.
- Mechanic Superstore uses trustworthy freight companies to make the deliveries. It is your responsibility to be present on the scheduled date and time of the delivery.
- There will be a receiver charge of $135 if the truck driver arrives at the designated location and the customer does not have the necessary means ready to unload the lift.
- In case you do not have the necessary equipment to unload the equipment do not worry. Mechanics Superstore offers other delivery options.

Do you have a hitch trailer to transport your lift? If so, then this might be the best option.
Aspects to keep in mind when choosing this option.
1. Mechanics Superstore and our brands’ warehouses have the means to load your car lift into an appropriate trailer.
2. Given the weight and dimensions of car lifts, we cannot load lifts directly into vehicles or trucks. To safely transport your lift, you will need a hitch trailer. Will this option not work for you? Perhaps the warehouse is too far from your location? If so, keep reading.

Think of this option as a variation of the previous one. Even so, this could be an excellent alternative to picking up the lift at one of our warehouses. Instead, we can take the car lift to a warehouse closer to your location.
You will still need a hitch trailer to transport the lift for this option, but you can save on freight costs if you have an LTL Carrier close to your shop.

Neither of the above delivery options suits you? Then we have the solution.
We will dispatch your lifts directly to a local installer in your area. This way, you will not have to worry about anything since the installer would be in charge of the logistics.
Aspects to keep in mind when choosing this option.
1. You still have to pay the freight fee to the installer (or dock hold for the installer to pick up the lift)
2. We will quote th e installation fee before you pay for the lift so that you can get an idea of the total amount to pay (car lift + freight + installation).
Do you have another delivery option in mind? In that case, do not hesitate to contact us. At Mechanic Superstore, we are open to all kinds of solutions, as long as they comply with the relevant local regulations and safety standards.

Product Description
BendPak HD-9XL 9,000 lb. 4 Post Storage Lift
9,000-lb. Capacity / Four-Post Lift / Standard Width / Extended Length
The HD-9XL is the ideal 9,000-lb. capacity four-post lift for vehicles with longer wheelbases. In fact, the runways are about two feet longer than the runways on the standard HD-9. This 4-post lift variety is available with optional casters, dip-trays, jack platform and more.
Long Wheelbases Finally Have a Lift of Their Own
The HD-9XL four-post lift features that accommodate longer wheelbases. Car collectors who like those long, old Chevys can rejoice: this lift is for them. There are likewise plenty of other long-wheelbase vehicles that will sit more comfortably on this lift. Garages need a little more space to accommodate it, but not by much.
Dual-hub cable sheaves
Wider, sturdier cable sheaves reduce friction against the cables and increase the lifespan of the parking lift. These rugged sheaves are more expensive to manufacture, but it’s worth every penny, for us and for you, because better sheaves protect both lifts and lives.
Multi-level locking positions
When you’re preparing to park on a car lift, it’s important to understand the height you need to lock the runways at. The heights of the stacked vehicles, as well as your ceiling height, need to be factored in. Your BendPak has lock positions every few inches. There’s so much versatility in how you park, you can fit virtually endless combinations of vehicles.
Heavy-duty aircraft cable
Powerful, aircraft-quality cables each have a 14,000-lb. capacity. So, four of them combined can lift 640% more than the capacity of the car lift. This kind of over-engineering is necessary to ensure your vehicle can be safely left on top of the raised lift for as long as you want.
Electric-hydraulic power system
BendPak offers fully integrated electric-hydraulic power units that are always placed within easy reach on one of the parking lift columns. The units never need maintenance and practically take care of themselves for the entire duration of ownership.
Large base plates
Safety systems are worthless without the right structural supports. We’re not afraid of a little overkill here and there, so our 10” x 12” base plates are made so stable, you don’t even need to bolt the lift down. This is especially true if you plan on using the caster kit with your car lift.
Caster kit
Add wheels to your four-post lift if you want to adjust where you park. Since the HD-9XL is also a maintenance lift, the casters let you reposition the lift for purposes other than parking. Roll it across most flat, smooth surfaces. You can even keep a car parked on top while you move it.
Integrated design
Each BendPak parking lift holds its components within its posts. This maintains a cleaner appearance and prevents accidental damage and wear.
Low-deck runways
When you park on top, you don’t want to climb up Mt. Olympus. That’s why BendPak runways are low-profile and accommodate virtually any vehicle type. Low ground-clearance cars and low-suspension trucks are welcome to board.
Longer approach ramps
Extending the approach ramps makes loading low ground-clearance vehicles faster and safer. Shorter ramps usually result in scratches to the front bumper.
Automatic safety locks
The HD-9XL four-post lift features spring-loaded locks that click into place as the lift rises. They lock automatically every few inches, so each time you hear one engage the lock, you know even a catastrophic hydraulic failure will not ruin your day (or life). They also release simultaneously as the lift descends, and a secondary slack-cable detection system prevents operators from raising or lowering the parking lift in the unlikely event that slack develops in one or more of the lifting cables.
